  • Absolutely Lovely!

I wonder how it has been since? I really hope it's been respected by the wider community - all too often things like this aren't - Such a shame.

  • I'm glad I was able to navigate the maze that is the new subscription box to see this. Truly a beautiful community venture! It's really great to see people getting together for something as great as taking back community spaces for the community. I also love the influx of community-based videos popping up... it's so easy just to exist on the internet, and we need something to remind us that there's a world out there!

  • This is beautiful.

We used to have a similar program in my community. Decades later, you can still find beautifully painted and graffiti free bridges, walls and picnic benches around the city.

  • Great video Emily, really captures what can be done in the community.

Here in Melbourne a lot of the alley ways have legal graffiti zones, you get beautiful art work. All you need is a permit, and it is relatively easy to get.

  • This was fantastic, Emily! I know you had expressed interest in uploading documentaries to YouTube in the past, and I'm glad that you got another one upload. :D

  • This is an inspiring organization and sounds like a fun way to get involved in a community.

  • Oooh, documentary style! Love it! What a great way to improve a community. Art has purpose!!!

  • That looks really awesome :D How inspiring.

  • This is cool! Looks much better than graffiti!

  • @ChateauOfADoubt I'm sorry~ ...and have a nice birthday!

  • This is really cool, I don't go down to troy much but next time I do I'll deff keep an eye out, its looks really lovely!

  • This is a great video Emily! It looks really professional. And I love the idea of the project :)

  • This is charming. A mural was painted on a wall near me when I was a kid, eventually it was graffitied again but I was impressed just how long it lasted. The community wasn't involved in painting it though, I would have joined in if that was the case.

  • That's so cool. And you did a great job! Happy Birthday!

  • We are in the same biz now

  • Somehow I just keep loving you more and more.

This was so well-paced. The mural is gorgeous - thank you for allowing us to see!

  • The idea of a mass paint by numbers is so brilliant! It's good for the community, the artist, the wall... It's like killing a whole flock of birds with one stone - but less destructive.

  • Was this the mural on the theatre? So cool! You're so legit, looking all professional and what not. :)

  • @supersharayah no, this is underneath the bridge that goes to Watervliet.

  • What an awesome project :) And great vid, I really like the music you picked.

  • That song will be stuck in my head all day

  • This was really well done, and the message is great. Epic upload, Chateau.

  • This is a lovely video, and such a cool project. I love murals like this. They really help bring out the character of a place, and I think the statement about people having respect for them is really true.

  • What a fantastic project, organisation, and video. :) Really enjoyed this. :)

  • i would really like to drizzle italian dressing on that tree

  • Emily this was so good and professionally done!

  • Emily, this looks awesome! sprucing up troy, one alley at a time!
