checked out the results on the Gravity Brawl website; did they make a mistake???

According to the men's finals results, Vasya flashed 3 out of the 4 problems whereas Paul Robinson topped 2 out of the 4 problems and flashed 1 out of 4 problems...

What's the deal??? How did Paul win this?

i think it was because their system is by:

Most sends (doesn't matter if flash or top), then

Furthest move on unfinshed problems, then

flash or top on finished problems.

So since they both tied on finishing 3 problems, Paul won cuz he got the furthest on the last problem.

Yeah, the high point is what really matter. Number of attempts are only used for tie-breaker.

Paul Robinson and Daniel Woods were the only one to match on the blue hold, which gave them an extra point. Vasya did indeed climb really well and gave a great effort on prob #4, but the rules were not in his favor.

@adamisuber A flash is completing the problem on your first attempt, a top out is any successful attempt after your first.
