I was there in the 90s and in 2003, in the 90s you could drive on the bridge with your car. There was no admission to pay at the front door and you had to pay admission for the rides.
2003: No more cars on the bridge allowed. Very high admission to pay, but all "rides" are free of charge + they have added the "Skycoaster".

WOW! Thank you for sharing! I cant believe that even the aerial tram was there in '84! And still running in July of 2010! Great video from the 80's!

You can still drive cars on the bridge. I was there in 2007 and 2008. Neat place.

I used to work at the Royal Gorge in the summer when I was in High School... 28 years later still looks the same.... great place to visit!
