I've been drawn here by a comment left on the ColaLife Project 10^100. This is a really neat fundraising technique for a very worthwhile cause. How will you ensure that the money you raise will result to clean water supplies?

Thanks, ColaLife looks like a great project -- I hope that idea takes off too!! We're focused on clean water itself (mainly clean drinking water) in the developing world, so we're planning to partner with established, "on-the-ground" organizations that are already providing clean water to people today in a sustainable fashion. This will be on a per-project basis with each partner, implementing a variety of solutions such as water-wells, sanitation projects, and other solutions in the space.

I have water footage from honduras of what it takes to bring water (unclean) to a house - a four hour project. Also probably some water footage and pictures from Uganda.

Terrific idea! 3for5 offers a world-changing movement that the common person can feel personally connected to. This will redefine the term social fundraising and, perhaps, social networking as well! I can't see how Google could pass on putting this in the top 100 ideas for their contest.

Brilliant - simple, easy, and totally possible! Imagine if we actually united 20 million people to provide water to millions of people (especially small children)who are suffering or dying because they don't currently have access. Wow!
