Skyrim: How to duplicate the Oghma Infinium *EXPLOIT* [HD]

not only does it work for xbox but once one understands how to do it multiple oghmas can be placed on the shelf and with quick enough fingers multiple copies can be obtained in one go, this significantly cuts down on nessicary time dedication. fyi the maximum number of copies need is 34, this is assuming that none of your skills are above 10, which is not only highly unlikely but as far as im aware not possible. thanx for the vid, keep on keeping on. if u can take it easy take it twice

Totally working on my PS3. You have to be really really quick, the idea being to read the book while you store it so that you have one copy "in your hands" and one in your inventory. And to add a suggestion, once you get 6 or more and have the option to store more than one book, store them all then when you go to take them back keeping hitting X and occasionally you'll get more than one duplicate. I've had up to 3 on one go.

looks as though this would be a better first step....

Make the duplicates without reading, get like 200 or so, then have each seperated and dropped or bookshelved.

Then read them and leave them until its time to sell the firstlike 100....place two or three or so in a chest somewhere so you don't have to worry about accidently reading and selling them...

simpler way (if your on PC) get the item code and do player.additem (item code) (amount). but thats even more cheap and only works for PC players

It still works, just did it. You have to be FAST on that A button (or activate button for whatever your platform).

Have they fixed the glitch? I can get everything to work fine and the book opens as stated it should if done right. I set it on don't read but when I take it, it only shows one in my inventory.

For those who are having a hard time doing this on 360 and your guy is just taking the book off of the shelf on the last step, try double tapping A after leaving the menu, on the 0:56 step in this video..

Even if you have the new 1.4 update, the glitch still works; you just have to exit out and grab it a lot faster. I just did it and now I'm up to three of them. It's extremely difficult getting the timing right though.

Worked for me, filled an entire bookshelf and each book gives the skill points (tested with save/load). 72 Oghma Infinium books total. Don't really need them since i'm level 74, just makes nice decor. I'm using Xbox 360 with patch installed.
