Awesome Documentary All That is Said Is SooTrue The Streets Are Over Crowed In The Coming Years We Are Gonna Have A Really Big Problem INSHA'ALLAH God is With Us.
The cab drivers in Egypt are a real varied lot. Some are decent people, some are staid faced and drab, and some are just plain crazy. I once ran into a young driver who started pretending to shoot at the other drivers on the road with his hand like a ten-year-old kid. Another time, my young driver was so reckless that we were rammed from the side by another car on the highway!
I had a young driver who was wreckless, he then would not let us leave his cab till we paid him 10 pounds. Yet we negotiated something around 5 pounds before we got in. I just threw the 5 at him and walked.
I took many cabs during my time in Cairo. After a while you learn to negotiate the fares. Most of the cab drivers are decent people, though I've had women tell me horror stories.
Don't remind me, the last time I went to Cairo, I took a taxi from the Airport to Shoubra, the driver charged me 120 Egyptian pounds. I asked him why, he responded by saying that Egypt is now more expensive than 7 years ago (I told him before that I have been away for seven years)I have believed him and paid him the 120
i love qahira and masri people although i have never been to egypt in my life. i love egyptian arabic and i'd love to learn it too. ma'asalamah wa adios
Has a warm, generous feel. I was glued to the screen.... I'm glad I checked it out after seeing your film of the pack of sex-crazed (eh? what's going on there?) men harassing a woman in Cairo. Back to what makes people good.

egyptian taxis are some of the strangest in the world, because the customers set the price, and not the drivers. it's really weird
