@xxgeorgiinaxx I went to Hidden words , the caves ( cenotes ) are natural and there are fishes in the water , they assure me there are not alligators cause the caves are too cool and pitch black , actually the fishes living in caves are most blind . It is a great experience as the water is very clear and the bottom like another world but yes it is a little scary
I am planning to go there with my wife... question is how do I protect my DSLR and Video cam from water while taking the shots of these underground swimming / rafting.
@cfhasib There is two way to solve your problem. 1. If you have a lot of money, purchase the underwater gear for your DSLR. 2. If you don't have a lot of money like me, use water proof "Lock and lock" plastic container to put your gears somewhat protected.
You did a great job!! I was there and I hope I could have a video like yours for my memories. I was really scared in the swimming part so not even had time for taking pic :(
Video looks cool. Did you guys actually swim or just float through? My wife doesn't know how to swim and I'm wondering if this would be ok for us to do when we go in Aug.
it's more like walk through. 95% of the time it's only about 3-4 feet deep. 4% of the time it's about 5-6 deep but not a biggy, the float vest carries you through. final 1 % is about 10 feet deep but even then life vest will float you through.
are the creatures in the water? thats the only part that would freak me out :S

@xxgeorgiinaxx No, there's no creatures in the water. It is filtered and maintained artificially.
