Julian is the shit. I love it that he was the first choice for the role of Brian, but I have to wonder if the character would have been as good. Supposedly Mark Heap made Brian the shy and nervous type, rather than really outgoing and flamboyant as Simon and Jess intended. I guess they were transferring the Victor personality to Spaced.

i love asylum, but some of the long monologues can get a bit boring. however, i could sit through 24 hours of a julian barratt monologue. he is brilliant!! he is also the sex <3
