  • I took that train. It does its job. I guess it's most important for freight.

  • the guy is smiling like its a joke ....hes nt even serious. i think kenyan government shuldnt own the rail services...theyy just know how to kula pesa.

  • I have bee on that suicide missoin the train from nairobi to mombasa acouple of times., so it s good news about the new line. i ve just read in times magazine that kenyans were rated the most optimistic people in the world so it is quite shocking to read all the negative, pessimistic comments from all these miserable moaners in these forums, after all whatever happens, hope is better than nothing it keeps you going strong!!

  • Ehh? the Kenya railways gauge 1 Metre is the same as Tanzania and Uganda so changing it puts a spanner in the East African Railways system!!!!! Its not a faster train they neeed but a more frequent and reliable one?

  • If you guys wanna know this is a joke, just look at how the jamaa is laughing. I see him going home to tell his wife what a joke his job is " imagine honey, they are making me tell these things that even I know will never happen" Remember how old is RVR?

  • Kenyans live in the future and hopes ever since they were born...November 2011, vision 2020...dumb asses.

  • Whoever said Kenyans LOVE to complain was so right... :( Why do we doubt everything even before it has had a chance to fly? We love to pluck wings....

I actually sat in on a presentation by the Secretary of Finance describing this very project (Vision 2030) and there was nothing suspicious or impossible about it. Yet here we are shooting (not even the project) but just the idea of it down. Have some imagination and wait UNTIL it fails before concluding it a failure. You might be surprised!

  • hey....yu keep hoping! Talk is cheap n these goons have plenty mouths. I talk from Xperience! these clowns never disappointed me! They always score Nil- Zero!

  • follow the kenyan politics of tribalism, grand corruption beeseeched by lack of basic services. we can't even settle IDP's and even provide food for our citizens and yet you are talking vision 2030!!! and you criticize us for complianing??? unemployment rate in kenya is at 70%? when Kenyatta took power they said by 2000 evry home will have piped water and electricity. Live long enough to see 2030 and see for yourself. Kenyan ploiticians are USELESS gabbage.

  • Hey buddy, do you remember poverty eradication by 2010? Maybe you don't remember that one but those Kenyans who have are in the right to be pessimistic.

A country ruled by the kind of monkeys we have ruling us, will definitely have a surplus of pessimists. What we need are five year plans that set small goals that are quantifiable. Our leaders have found a way to set plans in motion that they will not be present to account for.

  • KR will gain speed alright to bankruptcy by Nov 2011

  • This kamba guy looks like he has been eating alot. is he ok?

  • maze that Kao chick that dumped you must have really pissed you off. You can't even control yourself whenever a Kao is present? Pole sana bro, but you need to get over it.

  • This has nothing to do with Kamba chick. The cows are better than Kikuyu women by far. We are talking of a guy here though. Are you ok?

  • That's just an illusion they have! Was it that this guy is announcing the current KR annual profit, we can foresee his dream come true. But I think he was looking for something which will make him just appear to the media...........
