  • last throw the last time... kinda wondering how you got it back...

  • Soon i will post a video of me flying the electra fun from ground view and ariel veiw.

  • Hey man, your throw is perfect but next time make sure you have full throttle and a little bit of up elevator. Be gentle on the sticks if your a first timer.

    Keep up the good work.

  • How do u get it back?

  • wow,i want that plane...sweet ride for no. 14.

i used to have a plane like that.

i was bored one day and wanted to try to fly it without pumping it up first.

result:i threw it straight over the fence and i never saw it again..damnit!

  • Almost like you intended to have it fly into the sun...... but how did the landing go after?

  • This was filmed a long time ago but from memory, it landed in one piece! Some of my other planes have not been so lucky :-) See my vid "The Reason" for examples .... cheers

  • The wind is too big.

  • your throw is good but next time throw it in the trashcan

  • lol "what are the chances of hitting that light post"

  • hey man same thing happened to me with this plane first ti me i used it u need to launch it straight with full elavator and throttle NO WIND

  • what rc plane is that

  • Its called an Electrafun XP

  • chears

  • I have the same one,but didn't take me long to learn to fly it.I crashed it a couple of times. the back of the wing get nipped by the prop when it crash on the ground.I still fly it when its calm weekend. When I fly it high up,I cut the throttle off it glides and it stays up a lot longer than usual 12 minutes flight.

  • all it was you just werent getting to the controls quick enough thats all

  • rly nice then u got it up anyway!

  • i have a plane similar to this, and i have difficulties flying it too. Lol, on my first try i flew against one of those poles too. EXACLY THE SAME!! I need to go out there to try fly again.

  • Brilliant .. Just watched your latest vid .. and couldn't believe it's the same pilot just 3 or 4 months ago .. Cheers Mate

  • now the plane just needs to land correctly

  • that really does fly! cool...

  • Good to see you stuck with it.

Now all you need is a song called

    "I believe I can land".

  • nice practice!last time i flew a plane i threw it straight to the can (garbage, i never had such perseverance) good work!

  • Cool video, made me laugh too.

  • and realflight(realflight is a must) i havent had a single crash due to pilot error. where are you getting the on board camera from?

  • I tried a wireless video camera - one of those micro security ones but quality was really poor. Have ordered a 5in1 eDVR usb video camera from eBay has 128Mb ram and has had very good reports around the net.

Yes I know what you man about using the sim... my flying improved out of sight after a couple of hours practice..

  • it might help if you werent using a cheap toy

  • Brilliant! Why didn't I think of that? I should have just plonked down a couple hundred for an expensive plane which I could also smash into the ground and destroy, instead of a cheap, strong, repairable one....

    What was I thinking?

  • i wasnt making a snide comment, just an observation. i had one of those planes and i never got to go more than about 10 ft at the most. if you took the time with a real trainer plane you wouldnt have to worry about crashing. ive had 3 planes in 2 years. first one was defect(wings split in mid-air) the second i still have, and the third was shot down(someone jumped on my chanel). i have now learned that with the right radio, plane...

  • If you watch the whole video you'll see that it actually flies fantastically... I'd say it got to about 200 to 250 feet and would have gone higher or further except I chickened out and brought it back. The problem initially (first 11 attempts) was not having the rudder control cable adjusted correctly. It was out by only about 1 or 2 mm but caused the plane to pull to the right every time. Being a noob, it didn't click with me for a while :-)

  • good on ya

  • Finally got it eh'. Yeah it takes time and a lot of patience. Good job.

  • Thanks for the comment.... yep I guess it shows that if at first you don't succeed, try, try again :-) For my next trick I'm planning to mount a wireless micro camera to the plane and see what kind of video I can capture. Hopefully not just shots of the ground rapidly filling the screen....
