  • Ohhhhhhhh they bothched the music in the PC port

  • @darthaeris This part doesn't have music in any of the versions I don't think.

  • Not a probrem.

  • Wow the monster can talk, ill encount error it when i get this.

  • epic battle between pyramid and sephiroth! WHO WILL WIIINN?

  • rofl how do i get ouf of debug mode I accidently save my game while in debug mod...

  • if you go to the debug menu, theres a battle where you fight 5 of them, get like 10,000 AP and 5 turbo ethers. its in that menu with the guy you talk to. i can make a vid if you'd like.

  • If you want, you cana.

  • Heh the message on the top is funny

  • it's done on the us pc version.

  • that pretty neat.....i should try that

  • wait, im confused, how do you get to this place on ps1? someone tell me please (unless its on the PC version)

  • this is the pc version, but there may be a way to get there on the ps1 version (Though I am not sure how right now)

  • @kisagari

@kisagari You need a game shark/action replay for the ps1, then enable the 'enter debug room' cheat. The one I used basically put me in the debug room when I entered a town/changed screen etc. For more info on it, here's a great guide, it'll give you the code needed, and all the info on how to use every section of the debug room! :) Have fun!

  • @jjgjunior1142

eehhh, this was done on the pc version.

I was replying to that, telling Kisagari how to do it on a ps1. (:

  • Debug Room FTW. I used to go into this room with my disc 3 save file, then start a new game. You can't get far, because loading the game again corrupts it, but it was awesome using ultimate weapons on the Guard Scorpion in the reactor.

This triangle is the test battle.

  • dose the sephiroth patch work for a torrented version of FF7 ultima version

and how do you get in the debug room on pc?

  • yes, and save editor.

  • I got a bigger jump than that without being in the battle you are in. Did it in my superfast playthrough. Constantly had to revive and I had to keep my lower level characters out of battle but I got all the way to disc 3 with Red XIII on level 14. Had him fight the zombie dragon and he leveled up to 29.

  • Thats cool, you can see some massive jumps in some Final Fantasy games (I know its possible to get a massive jump in FFVI)

  • the staff didnt answer.

  • lol really?

  • yeah, I got a recording, something about how they were out to runch, I dont know.

  • you tried? i'm really surprised....that would have been interesting to hear what they had to say......i think the staff might have relocated buildings since then or possibly switched numbers...... but yeah, cool video!

  • the patch scorpicus made?

  • I think so, not sure.

  • Nerds.

  • This is the enemy "Pyramid", from the Reno boss fight! It supposedly only has 10 HP. Huh, that's strange.

  • Did you call the staff? I think this is a "probrem"!

  • Monster "Not a Probrem" Probrem??

    Monster "Thats too bad"

    Monster "I'm sorry"

  • If you found this message then please call staff

  • It has 30K HP.

  • Gotta love these MIDI music formats they use.

    5/5

  • how do u get there

    ????

  • its possible to get here by causing the game to error out before a random battle, with use of a gameshark and debug mode, or on the pc version using a save game editor

  • or use the program the game makes used to test the game

  • Gotta love the fact that its trying to get you to contact someone, seems they put that in there as a sort of failsafe incase something does go wrong.

I love finding little easter eggs like this with gameshark codes (not saying you used them mind you).

You probebly got chucked at the top corner of the map because you forced yourself into the battle and it had no idea where to put you after.

  • what other people and I have thought up, it was meant to be a place holder for a event that they had yet to program AND if something went wrong, as you said. My theory as to why it just puts you up at the corner of the map is that it has no default cordinates to place you at after the battle, so it just puts you there, could of been land there at one point

  • Think of a random encounter battle, after you finish it you get placed back in the area you were just at.

The world map is probably the first room data wise, and if you look at the minimap your exactly on the top corner of the map. Which would be point 0x0, I dought there was ever any land there it is simply the absolute first position in the first room.

I bet it was just test stuff, and incase some user did happen to find it, it put crappy 'please call staff' things to try correct themselves.

  • it lands you there only if you havent gained use of the world map yet in the story, so if you are still in midgar it puts you there, but otherwise it puts you outside temple of the ancients.

  • you play all the game? or is like a demo?

  • its the entire game.

  • ok, thx

  • if you can find a copy of it, I would suggest getting it on pc, there is so much you can do with it.

  • Reminds me of the pyramids in the Debug Room. Only they have far less HP and give far better Exp/AP/Gil. Weird.

  • I think the pyramids are used as a place holder for enemies, which is why you have a giant on right there.

  • Makes perfect sense.

What's funny is how other than that, they're exactly the same as the Debug pyramids.

    What's sad is how much time I've actually spent in the damn Debug Room to know some of the pointless crap I do. XD Which I admit isn't much, as I only focused on a few aspects of the Debug room (crazy place, if you ask me) but still. Heh. ^_^;

  • should really work on getting FFVII back on the pc so I can do stuff like this again.

  • Fun stuff, yeah.

  • Hey... That summon you did... It was Typhon from Final Fantasy VI! I never realised until now, because I've never actually used it during the game. I prefer Bahamut ZERO or Phoenix. That is one weird monster, FFVII must be a really glitchy game.

  • this was a test area testers saw when something went wrong, its now only accessiable only through debug mode or save editors

  • Oh, okay. I only have the PS1 version, so I can't get any save mods. I think the vid pretty much shows everything about it though. Is there anything like that on other Final Fantasy games?

  • there was something like this in FFIV, it was more of a developer room than anything.

  • Here....what the hell is that?

  • its apperently a monster that the developers would see if they encountered a glitch in a battle.

  • thats an crapy as bug monster

  • You can also use a gameshark to get to the debug menu as well.

  • I know there is a gameshark code, I was just playing on the PC

  • oh wow, i completely missed that in your description, my bad, but none the less, good video

  • Hey, can I ask, is it possible to change the characters (example, have Sephiroth) with the PS1 instead of the PC version? Just asking, if you don't know then that's ok. Good video by the way.

  • not sure exactly

  • it is possible to change vincent into sephiroth, but appears more like a glitched-character in your PHS when you add him into your party...ALSO,i've officially noticed you can have him as third member in a new game, but always freezes during event that draw the patry out of cloud! there should be a code in gamefaqs that fixws this prob.

  • I have the game, but on PS1,can you get me a copy plz.

  • Theres a save editor called jenova just google it and you should find it, its very easy to use, you just open your save file (a back up of your save file would be wise) and on the last menu of i you can select specialist locations (sumimasen and the debug room) it also lets you play as young cloud, sephiroth and a chocobo :)

  • oh curses, you have found out how I got there XD

  • So is there actually a code that can do what you just did with sephiroth? (not the Sumimasen just control Sephiroth) Well I have the PS1 FF7 on my computer not the PC one. But yeah you think you can tell me?

    Thanks

  • I think there is a code on the internet that allows ou too, I just dont remember the link.

  • I havnt gt the pc version, is there a code 4 action replay or xploder 2 play as sephiroth and is there a code 2 gt 2 this place? I wanna play this part 4 myself! Very cool find! :)

  • Interesting. Where is this place???

  • there is a couple ways of getting here, one is to hope that you do get an encounter error somewhere in the game, or you could possibly access it through debug mode (Though I dont know if this is accurate or not) Or you can open a save editor and place yourself at Sumimasen

  • What is a save editor and where can I get one?

  • i never got those summons

  • This must have been something originally. Although most of the messages are obviously "error messages" aimed at Sqaure them selves, but other parts look like they could have fitted into a real fight.

  • It was it seems, it even had horrible translation, I mean come on, probrem? they need to learn their r's and l's

  • "R" and "L" sound the same in Japan. If you look closley during the Motorbike scene you can see the word "Midgal"...

  • I know, which is why I joked about them learning their Ls and Rs, but yea, there are many typos in the game, and this was one of the lesser known areas, not many people know about this I think, I mean I dont see any other video, check back later, Im going to try to morph it.

  • Ok fair enough.

    Sounds good I'll watch that.

  • Very interesting find :)
