I born deaf but I can hear some one ear hard of hearing none know about deaf culture until went to public school have deaf program learn use communicate sign and my parent always cried want me be hearing normal life ..i did learn oral speak feel not normal who i am also myself gay from genetic family member very interest have both world so not very easy for me life pretty rough . until now i am happy accept who i am not care people think.
Some parents never seem to have a problem with their children's orientations. Kudos to them! I once went to a social where a woman and her mother were attending with the young woman's deaf baby. They were learning how to sign to him rather than choosing the audist route. Again, kudos!
