The keyboard is weird, the Z is where the Y is supposed to be and vice versa. Interesting!

ok! to use 3g, do you just put in the sim card from your phone (any carrier), or you have to open up a new service just to get a sim to use 3g on this laptop? more details please. thanks!

You have to talk to your carrier, everyone is different, but in most cases it is just plug and play.

You should check with your carrier as some make you activate before you can use it. I would also check b/c your plan maybe crazy expensive for data & you should consider buying a package.

How do I know which one of the acer timeline collection has 3G or not? I want to buy that laptop, but with the 3G (sim card slot). Like for example the Aspire Timeline 3810T (AS3810TG-944G50n ... Part Number LX.PE70X.082) Help!!

well i just got the acer aspire timeline 4810tz-4011 for my birthday which by the way it's tomorrow well i feel in love with it and well you forgot something about it has a sd card slot in the front side it's hidden in the bottom well i recommend it like you said the keyboard is fantastic

Right so the xp is better at the moment...but after they've updated Win7 with some drivers don't you think it would be good enough for a netbook? Also heard that the Win7 is netbook friendly compared to vista.. :)

this line of computers will be the next one i get i swear! if only i could afford one! they're soo slim and sexy and the battery life would be great for doing last min assignments when commuting to college.

the 14" has a dvd drive right? if it has i think i'd rather go for that! oh man those chicklet keyboards look and feel great (i've used a mates viao). Oh if only i had the money!
