I just had my cerclage today. And I must say it was not that bad at all! The only side effect I'm currently experiencing is the bad soreness on my lower back due to the anesthesia they shot in my back 5 times! They had to stop surgery for a moment because I vomited twice in the operating room. In about 1 hour and a half, my numbness was completely gone. But trust me, if you are willing to save your baby from a miscarriage, I highly recommend it. I was really nervous at 1st but it was worth it :)

I had to get one done when i was pregnant with my twins. I ended up having them early anyway. I had dilated to 6cm at 20wks. But they are a healthy 2yrs old now.
Hello there, me & my wife just experienced a miscarriage about a week ago due to her uterus being too short & thin. Unfortunately it was too late to get the Cervical cerclage. It was devastating. The Dr. suggested that we get the Cervical cerclage we are very nervous about it because this our second miscarriage. We are planning to try again I just hope we are as lucky as yu & husband. Hope all is well :)

I just found out that i was 3 weeks preggers...... i'm scared to death.... last year i had an emergency ceclage at 21 weeks... it last for one week and I lost my daughter that was feb 14th 2010... four years before that i lost twins at 20 weeks and a baby at 20 weeks the year before that......OK.... this go around i'm getting the cerclage done at 13 weeks and i'm praying that this will make a difference... if not i'm done trying
aww! Im glad i could help. Congrats as well!! Its going to be a tough road ahead, but its an amazing one. The cerclage procedure is a breeze! A little uncomfy at times ( what with, 10 people looking into your lady parts and all) but, the best decision we could have ever made. I'm so glad you made this video! This is the first one about a cerclage that I watched and you've put me so at ease, I'm not watching ANY more! I lost my first child at 19 weeks due to IC and I'm currently 8.5 weeks pregnant and will be getting a cerclage sometime 12-14 weeks. :)
Good luck lady i recently had a cerclage at 21 weeks and lost my daughter the following week the hospital i was at sucked..needless to say i'm preggo again and i will get the correct treatment this go around.
hi how r u? hope all is well....im 14 wks n 4 days n im schedule for my cerclage 2mrw n im freaked out... wht can u tell me.. i was diagnose last yr whn i got pg wth an incompetent cervix.. but i lost it at 20 wks ... tht was the second child i lost at 20 wks so thn thy said if i got pg again thy wuld for sure do it .. so here i am pg n thy wnt to do it for me....

I was told that the next time i got pregnant i would have to do a cerclage, and it just makes me soo nervous. It sounds like you had a good experience, but i still feel uneasy about the whole thing and i am not planning to get pregnant for another 4 months.... Good luck on your pregnancy!!

I was told that the next time i got pregnant i would have to do a cerclage, and it just makes me soo nervous.
