Got a 62 Futura sports coupe,it has the Galaxie roof and is a spring option ofered in april,but mine is reg in Sweden 1 of jan 1962,figure that out! And Sweden did not import them 1962,imported lausy Zephyrs from England in stead.

My dad had one of these he bought new in '62. He junked it with around 16K miles on it because it had so many problems.

@bah53 Hi,did the 200 come from a 70s car?Did you have to change driveshafts? I know i have to,im looking for a driveshaft 2 inches shorter than the one that was on it because the trans is longer on the newer engine.

Is that gas can hooked up directly to the fuel line or somehow connected to the sending unit?

Ohh, ok. I was just wondering because i am 15yrs old and restoring a 66 mustang with an inline 6, and the gas tank is all rusted out. But anyway, i am going to try and start it once i hook up some source of fuel.

the falcon would be worth fixing up. i have worked on a lot of them and they are a nice car to drive. i like the lesabre with a bit of wood holding the radiator in.lol
