unlike many of you lot know that tiger you speak of is named shimajirou and is very popular in japan just he became famous elsewhere for all the wrong reasons, i mean the series it was a spin off from had 750+ episodes and sapnned over half a decade so if ya ask me itts not a character to be laughed at and 1000s of japanese parents would probably agree

@Miyu88 there are many episodes on here. look for "1 明日を見るメガネ" for the first episode but the current series can be watched live on TV Tokyo at 7:30 AM JST on a monday morning.

I know about the historical roots of Yule and the winter solstice. But Christmas is only celebrated at the same time; it is not the same festival, and doesn't celebrate the same thing. Christmas is Christian.
