Good job, but there is a better strategy.

1. Stand as far away from his as possible.

2. Don't do anything w/o long distance moves, just dodge the sand hands.

3. Run from his jutsu!!

4. When his sand shield comes up, DON'T DO ANYTHING!! It's a good time to charge chakra

5. When his shield, USE YOUR STRONG JUTSU!! It makes sense, duh.

6. I beat Gaara without a single scratch on me with this stategy.

So, try that. THIS IS NOT A FLAME, just advice. :D

To get the Nine Tail Fox Chakra by getting in the secret room in the place before battling Temari and get the secret scroll. For Naruto it is that one and for Sasuke(have to do this again)Barrage Of Lions and for Kakashi is the Lightning Blade(do it again)or Sharingan.

It's no point using Nine-Tailed Chakra on him, he'll only block it with sand, and if you wanted to heal, just get the chakra to the red, so you won't waste any chakra, and the least you can do when Gaara gos in his "Giant Sand Ball" is to just stand there and your chakra will heal quicker!
