And fair dinkum, how dare you tell those involved with horse racing that they have no regard for their horses. Owners and trainers spend tens of thousands of dollars per year to give horses quality of life and to let them do what they love doing.

Ummm pretty sure that's bullshit seeing as they are only bred to be raced in the first place. Ban the racing, the breeding stops. CHECK YOUR FACTS. And as for the owners... funny how they send their horses to the knackery when they are not "adequate" enough for racing anymore. In other words no longer earning them money.
