  • I was one of the few people who thought Jeff Hardy would definitely win against HHH. I thought it was obvious they were going to do that because of the way Jeff Hardy had been built up on Raw in the weeks following Survivor Series.

  • not 7.25 for my opinion this is 8.0

  • Armageddon was a pretty good pay per view. It was a lot better than tna's shitty pay per view, turning point.

  • the only reason edge won was so he can lose to taker at mania

  • You are an idiot. The only reason anyone wins the title is to lose it to someone. Grow up you stupid mark

  • how am i a mark.because undertaker is my favorite?

  • What I think he meant is that though yeah, everyone eventually loses it, but they don't always plan who and when they'll lose it to. But they probably already planned on having 'Taker win it at Wrestlemania. But then again, due to the rumors that Undertaker wanted to retire after Wrestlemania, they might have originally been planning to go in the opposite direction.

  • Punk being with the big guys is good as long as he goes over.

  • I like the blue shirt, I want one...

  • ROH Mark.

  • I agree that Punk has to lose that title and have a good showing in the Royal Rumble. I think the way they should do it is have him drop the title at the Rumble, and then enter the Rumble later on, completely surprising the crowd, anywhere from #20 to #30. Just my opinion.

  • y not punk lose the title at new years revolution(if there ever gonna be one next year)and enter the RR. if not then lose the title at RR then win the money in the bank and win the SD! title at WM 25?

    salute.

  • Yeah Fuck em all!

Especially XYZ. FUCK XYZ! Goddamn asshole of the Alphabet!!!

  • especially q

And a letter that can't be around with out u after it? What a garbage letter.

  • Does anyone else think that Tslay looks like Michael J Fox on crack?

Oh dude, this could be be like part of the Back to the Future movies and Tslay is in actuality one of the possible turnouts for Marty McFly! That would be weird.

  • What do you think are the top 5 promotions in the world today? People keep saying that WWE and TNA are the top 2 but I really don't think TNA is even close to that position. TNA has been losing money as opposed to making money. Even though TNA is on PPV and National TV doesn't really mean anything.

  • The reason they say that is because perseption is reality and then being on PPV and National TV gives people the perception that they are #2!

  • I agree. A lot have argued that promotions like NJPW and AAA would be ahead of TNA as they have been around longer, they sell out bigger arenas and they're turning a much larger profit than TNA.

  • hey I've always wanted to know which company you like more TNA or WWE? I know ROH is your favorite lol

  • He was bigger then he wasn't in better shape.

  • yeah, your right, the internet does have power. I heard that the original plan was for HHH to win against hardy, but decided to give hardy a push because they were pleased with him. But most likely, HHH will be involved in a world title feud by the time wrestlemania rolls along. Let's just hope Mr. Backstage Politics will actually push more young stars.

  • hhh v hardy and micheals v kennedy were so awesome on the night. so happy with them matches. kennedy is gonna be huge

  • truthslayer isnt biased, you tna marks.

    this ppv was v cool.

  • You are being generous giving it a 7.25 dude. As far as I see it, it deserved anywhere from a 5.5 to a 6. It was an okay ppv, but it lacked a few things necessary for a ppv.

  • Fair enough there were two non-finishers but it's not one of the big 4. If none of the matches upto the M.E. sold this show, then the Triple Threat match did. It was brilliant, with Batista/Taker doing there thing and Edge being a dick heel it had it all. Edge was phenominal in this match and I'm so glad he's back. Best heel in WWE and deserves the WHC. Hopefully we get a good stable on SD! with Edge and the Major Bro's.

  • bill n doug are pissing me off the used to use good reasons to watch tna now all they do is talk shit about wwe.which seems desprate.there has to be a better way to discribe this ppv with out sayin "stars" 100times...r.i.p. Eddie

  • what really pisses me off about PPVs is that after i PAYED to see them i come on youtube and i see them on here people streaming them for free when just the night before i PAYED to see it..it happened with Survivor Series i orderd it when it was on, next day i see it on YouTube free..that really f'n pisses me off

  • To you is 7 and 1/2 average or good?

  • the ppv sucked.

it felt like i was watching some rehashed raw. didnt seem special at all. didnt deliver. 5/10

your biased with your review as usual

  • Geez why are people complaining about certain guys being "buried".. someones gotta win the match, someone has to lose the match plain and simple... And no one really looked weak on the card at all.

  • Are you kidding horrible what PPV were you watching. First of all 2 matches was bad to terrible the rest was decent to great. Stop being bias!!

  • WWE in my opinion is getting better. This was a really good PPV.

  • bill n doug must be shittin themselves right now since armageddon tutned out to be a better ppv than turning point.

  • turned*

  • Your damn right about CM Punk TS, he really, really needs to lose the belt before the rumble!

  • NO he is not and NO he doesn't. CM PUNK is already a star they should use the Royal Rumble to move someone up like MVP,Matt Hardy, Chavo, Shelton, Mr. Kennedy.

  • Also, the Major Brothers acting as Edge's clones was brilliant in my opinion. Maybe they'll form some sort of heel group on Smackdown, and we'll really get to see what those guys can do. Edge winning the title was predictable, but it had to be done because Batista is horrible. Was he in every Heavyweight Championship match this year on PPV? If he was, then they need to get somebody, get Kane or move someone from Raw to be in the main event because Batista's terrible.

  • NO he wasn't because he was injured for awhile like EDGE and UNDERTAKER.

  • I enjoyed this PPV. Even with the 2 bad endings. Bad endings don't bother me as much if I call them before they happen. MVP and Mysterio's ending I didn't call, so I was disappointed. However, as soon as Jericho shoved JBL out of the way, I said to my buddy "now watch JBL ruin it". Overall though, most of the matches were good. HBK vs Kennedy was fantastic, as was HHH vs Hardy.

  • No mercy and backlash and cyber sunday were better

  • No mercy wasa pure crap it had one good match on it. this last PPV had 4 good matchs on it two passable matchs

  • Edge having "clones" was one of the best things I've seen in awhile. It's a great way to push the Major Brothers. We aren't kidding anyone here. The Major Brothers are just another generic tag team that no one cares about. This will at least give them some sort of name, thanks to Edge. I remember Kurt Angle did the same thing, when he introduced the World's Greatest Tag Team and formed Team Angle. Can't wait for Smackdown this week.

  • Haha, Jeff winning was obvious when you thought about it.

  • guys i have exclusive videos of owen harts death god rest his soul and eugene getting fired after summerslam

    watch my videeos and see

  • He isn't Scott Steiner but he has never been a really muscular guy.

  • Average PPV, should've been better with that killa line-up

  • i was going for hhh hardys not ready

  • Good review of Armageddon.

  • From what I saw this just PPV shows that WWEs flaws are mainly in its booking and not its wrestlers.

Cause besides te finishes it was pretty good.

  • i really enjoyed the ppv. some of the matches really showed what wwe could do well but were wrecked by the finish. hbk v kennedy was my fav by far tho best match i seen kennedy in yet. mvp will keeping the title for matt neway, it only cus matt needed surgery. Otherwise it would have been hardy winning at armaggedon.

  • I agree with the ending of the MVP vs Misterio match. Although I think the reason they did that was to insure that MVP kept the title until Matt Hardy returned and maybe have Matt be the one to end MVPs US title reign. That is just my theory.

  • nice review man ur a legend ..........

  • Great review TSlay, I think what you said about the Jericho-Orton finish was right on, and also, internet spoilers have ruined many great matches in the past.

  • i think this is their best ppv since summer slam

  • awesome review. seeing how the ECW title is not a world title, it would be nice to see Punk drop the belt and do well in the Rumble.

  • I definetly agree with you about the internet and the potential effect it can have on the outcomes of matches..Ive started feeling that way since alot of people were sure Orton was gonna take the title from Cena, particularly thir match in Jersey...good review

  • Jeff Hardy's win reminds me of Jay Lethal's win over Angle. I'm glad Hardy won too.

  • nice for you to call him "Rey Mysterio Jr"...good call...good vid

  • hey truthslayer you should put the undeniable poster on your next video

  • The whole wwe armageddon ppv was a real good ppv

  • el crapo....bueno espanol truthslayer lol

  • The ending did give MVP more heel status and Rey didn't lose credibility, but they could have done it in a different, more entertaining way if they really wanted to.

  • How can you even consider Khali and Finlay one and a half stars. I gave them half.

  • IT SUCKED! The opener was good until MVP walked away, they had Big Daddy V pin CM Punk, HHH and Jeff Hardy had HHH as a heel and too many clotheslines by HHH, Khali vs. Finlay is self-explanatory, they had JBL off all people interfere in the WWE Title match, Takers entrance was longer than the Womens Championship match and the Triple Threat match had a very dumb ending with the Major Brothers. No disrespect to the Majors but they are not ready for a main event push.

  • Good PPV, Kennedy and HBK had elements of wrestling that we rarely see these days. A great match.

  • The Main Event just made me like Edge even more. The Three Edges of Doom! Also, I'm not sure that ECW is leaning towards putting the title on V but rather just moving him to Smackdown. A Punk/Benjamin feud seems to be coming, and I'm excited for that.

  • z0mG TRIPLE H PUT SOMEONE OVER....again!!! weird that you didn't mention that.

  • I loved the HBK vs. Kennedy match too the best man won and it could have went either way. I didn't like the ending of the MVP vs. Rey Mysterio match.

  • NICE VIDEO MAN

  • How?

  • What match were you watching?

  • I could have sworn Jeff went over.

  • nice review. im waiting for someone to post the matches but the keep getting blocked.

  • Try stingerv2

  • thanx. as soon as you replied i checked and watched. great to subscribe to.

  • I dont think Jeff deserves the WWE title, despite how over he is. He will not be a reliable champion. Its been said that the last suspension he had was for immature behavior, a couple of months back. He's also been suspended more than once and botches alot of moves. He has gotten better, but I'd rather see him in mid-card, not headlining PPV's, maybe in a year he will be ready for the belt until then... no.

  • I disagree, I think him getting a short reign as WWE Champion would be well-deserved. I agree maybe he wouldn't be reliable and maybe he doesn't have the skillset to be a World Champion, but I do think that he deserves some recognition and a chance to be at the top once in his career.

  • the same could be said about orton constantly causing trouble...oh yea wait he didn't get suspended because he is hhh friend...the guy causes more problems and yet the only difference is that orton has been molded into a champ and jeff hardy has been molded into a daredevil

  • Skillset of a World Champion? I certainly think he's better in the ring than WWE's three current World Champs...I mean, the only thing that gives me any doubt is his mic skill, but he seems to be improving in that area, anyway.

  • I agree he's better in the ring but in WWE terms sometimes they don't feel high fliers have what it takes to carry the company(or carry the main belt). Not saying I wouldn't support it, just stating one the reasons potentially why some might not like the idea. But the WWE has been showing signs of grooming Jeff for a world title run, as they've been giving him mic time, he went over Triple H clean, he's just getting so close to the top and it'll come in the near future I feel.

  • I think some more time to get comfortable on the mic would help, but I think he, no doubt, deserves the title. He's only been suspended once since his return +1 years ago, and since when does he botch "a lot" of moves? I've seen him botch like twice in the past year. Besides, I'd take an occasional botch to be able to see an exciting performance. I mean, Batista doen't botch but he sucks in the first place.

  • He's proven that hes earned the spot finally. He won't get the belt anyway. He probably won't win the belt for awhile. He won't be headlining the PPV thats why he is getting the shot.

  • I agree with Exxxtacy. Jericho needs a few more months to make an impact with the newer fans. It wouldn't be right to give him the title so soon. I just hate the JBL interference.

  • they did the count out to build up heat. they'll continue to feud.

  • Royal Rumble Fatal Four Way for the WWE championship Orton/Hardy/Y2J/HHH. that would be alright.........

  • if they put hhh in the wwe title match as well that wud make the no.1 contender match pointless, plus if thay hav 2 many people in the wwe title match they will run out of decent people for the royal rumble match.

  • Its a 1 on 1 match. Personally I wish the match wasn't on the card. The 30 best singles guys should be in the Royal Rumble match not in World title matches. Jeff vs Randy should by the Febuary PPV Main Event.

  • No Way Out

  • of TNA had the exact same matches u would have given it a 5 star rating, and if ROH had the exact same PPV it would have gotten 9.5 stars

  • If ROH had that PPV, I'd stop watching ROH. It was however, a good WWE PPV.

  • It was a good PPV my only problem was the MVP countout and the womens match be so short when it was good and they had time....The orton/jericho match was done right...giving jericho the title so soon wouldn't have been as great as him winning it after a few months...i am just glad they threw out batista vs hhh for wrestlemania 24

  • great review i have a feeling that the major brothers were the other 2 edges that would be a good spot for them to be edges minians

  • armageddon has done it again. this is one ppv that rarely failed the audience

  • Great review.

  • I really saw a different MVP/Mysterio match to everyone else, I thought that it was just above average, but no better than that. Triple H and Hardy started off slow but grew and gave the ending a dramatic effect.

  • The M.V.P match had the best endding to keep the heel push going for m.v.p so that it is a big deal when matt hardy beats him for the belt

  • as trueslayer pointed out thats the 2nd time hes done that a ppv,

  • That fits into his charector though thats why he did it again.

  • gotta agree with 3rdhardy here. if matt hardy does not win the title from mvp, their feud was all for nothing.

  • MVP is a growing star and it wouldn't make much since in my opinion. MVP is not ready for the World Title yet he's a top star on Smackdown, he should keep the US title for a few more months.

  • I disagree if MVP lost to Rey the MVP/Matt fued could have ment more because it would allow one of them to move up to the Main Event level of the show.

  • Cena is just stonger and more over with the crowd

  • i'm suprised how low the overall score of this was considering how well u rated the individual matches

  • I would love to see the 3 title matches be:

    Orton/Hardy

    Punk/BDV

    EDGE/Finlay

  • orton/hardy

    punk/benjamin

    edge/undertaker

  • Orton/Hardy and Punk/Benjamin I can agree with without question but I think they should wait until Wrestlemania for Edge/Undertaker.

  • They need time to build to your ECW title match. I would save the and the Heavyweight match for WrestleMania. I wouldn't have him win the title but I don't see the harm in giving Finlay a title shot.

  • EDGE is in shape. EDGE got the title because he is over and Y2J didn't because he isn't.

  • Jeff Hardy/Triple H had phenomenal psychology, it told such a great story I didn't want it to end.

I also wasn't into Orton/Jericho because I knew Orton would retain, but also got worked up when it seemed possible Jericho could do it.

I have to say though, I marked like crazy for Edge winning the world title. It's not so much how it was done, it's just the fact that it is Edge.

  • PPV card seemed stacked to me, i loved how Edge rung the bell, ive never seen that before, it was a genius idea, i liked the 2 imposer Edges too, i only saw the main event, but besides Punk and fatzos and Khali as always, card looked very well done, sounds like it had a good WWE result as well, interesting to see WWE stack a minor PPV like this

  • Sad how it was so much better than Wrestlemania XD

  • You're seriously retarded.

  • -CaptainGrime- Okay, then instead of being a moron, tell me how Armageddon wasn't way better than Wrestlemania 23. I say Arm. was better because of the PPV actually had all good/decent matches (instead of Finlay/Khali.)

Hmm, Wrestlemania 23, Khali/Kane? Garbage. Ashley/Melina? Even worse. Cena/HBK? One of the worst Wrestlemania Main Events (but HBK did great.) The only good matches were Batista/Taker, MVP/Benoit, and MINB. So how was Mania better? It wasn't...

  • I don't know what's funnier the fact that you only mentioned 3 matches that you didn't like, or the fact that one of the matches you mentioned was a 4 star match.

  • I'm not the only one who didn't like them. How could you possibly say Melina/Ashley, Khali/Kane, or Cena/HBK were Wrestlemania worthy. Please someone answer that for me, if you give me a good answer, I'll delete my account. Please Moses give me a good answer. Instead of the typical 1 line insult crap that proves nothing...

  • I dunno last I heard having a 4 star match main event wasn't bad at all. Melina/Ashley and Kane/Khali were bad but Cena vs HBK was a motyc solid match.

  • Like I said it's true that I'm not the only one who didn't like those matches. As far as Cena/HBK, what made the match solid? HBK completely dominated Cena, did a Moonsault out the ring, Cena did some punches, a clotesline, caught HBK when he was going to crossbody him, and then made him tap out after doing nothing all match, just like Cena/HHH, and Cena/JBL. Batista/Taker would've been a better M.E. because of Taker winning. Other Mania M.E. completely destroy 23's.

  • I realize you're not asking me but SL90 summarizing a match like that isn't fair at all. The slow buildup at the start was great and I loved the ring psychology and mind games going on, HBK working the knee, and trying to keep the ball in his court. I really can't summarize the whole match in a youtube comment, plus it's been a while since i've watched it, but I remember the last 10 minutes being pure gold as they started pulling out all the big stuff. It was a great 4 star 28 min match.

  • It's his opinion. If he thought Armageddon was better than Wrestlemania. Just because he has a differnt opinion than you doesn't me his retarded.

  • the crap endings pissed me off so much it was like good match then count out good match then dq like wtffff

  • idk J. I think this was about a 6/10.

    Average WWE/TNA PPV.

I didn't like ANY of the endings. The match quality was decent. But I DESPISED the Orton/Y2J, Triple Threat, MVP/Rey and Hardy/HHH endings.

    KENNEDY/HBK = GOLD

  • I don't think anything was wrong with the Hardy/HHH ending.

  • Even though it's unlikely, I'm hoping that Jeff Hardy wins the WWE title at the Royal Rumble. I'm not the biggest Jeff Hardy fan myself, but I've got to admit that he gets a reaction from the crowd and seeing him as WWE champion would be a refreshing change IMO.

  • Good review and the ppv was quite enjoyable minus the screwy finishes.

  • Which, as of late, sadly, has become increasing habbit with the WWE past few months.

  • Cena is a better big man wrestler than Finlay, since he is larger

  • way too much lame endings at armageddon but i wastn realy surprise i knew it was gonna be bad what a waste of 40 dollars good thing i dint buy it

  • I also want jeff hardy to win but come on....its the wwe..i dont think they will put hardy over orton!

  • Jeff is not ready for the WWE title. The guy needs some more months of building before that should happened.

  • I think he needs more singles time. He's better at tag team matches because he's good at exploding, he needs more funcamental and etc.

  • He won't get the title, just the shot. Thats why I am surprised so many people are surprised by him winning because the next PPV is Royal Rumble if it was something he would have to Main Event then he wouldn't have won.

  • I wouldn't be surprised if on the road to the RR they have a story where HHH will wind up getting the title shot instead of jeff.

  • I have a feeling punk will face Kane at Mania. This would be a huge win for Punk and something new for Kane.

  • This sounds like it could have been a great ppv, if the matches just had normal endings and not stupid dq's for no reason.

  • It would have been DAMM GREAT with out the crap endings.

  • Its almost like WWE teases us saying "We can put the best product out there" And then pull away and say "but not yet" haha =D

One night they are just gonna let it all hang out.. I can feel it heheh =P

Im sure that Matt Hardy is gonna be back soon hoepfully and MVP is gonna beat Rey clean(or unclean and etc)

  • I am surprised you have such a issue with those "crap endings" since I thought you were more oldschool and that is more traditional booking. Atleast they had 2 different endings.

  • It isn't for no reason, they had a good reason for both endings and they both made sense. That is how used to be done to continue fueds. Although I would have liked Rey to have won the US title so the winner of the Matt/MVP fued moves up not wins the US title.

  • I agree...Armageddon was great

    on paper.

WWE never realizes when they have a goldmine of potential sitting on the books, and they fuck it all up.

  • Yeah, I agree. This PPV had an amazing card, but it seemed like most of the matces didn't amount to what everyone thought they would. I think if they were to leave out the U.S. title match and put that on Smackdown and perhaps wait until the next PPV for the Diva match(since that feud has barely had time to turn into something, anyway), the WWE and World Heavyweight title matches would've had the time they needed.

  • good review...i thought it was a decent outing from WWE...good way to end the year

  • did you buy the ppv Tslay

  • good PPV good review

  • I think V should get the ECW belt and Punk should chase for a few months.

  • I don't think V is going to get the belt. He will probably challenge Punk at the Royal Rumble and Punk will keep the title until WrestleMania and then drop it to a then ready to carry it Shelton.

  • Well they've been building up V. I don't know if they'd rather waste it on a second-time ever Punk vs. V match to have Punk go over, but yeah I also agree with you that they want Shelton to be up there on the brand. I think V holding it could be a good story though.

  • agree. V and MVP are make great champs. and they shouldnt let rey beat MVP ever, i think mvp is obviously better.

  • Maybe they will give V a short title reign and have Punk win it back to drop it to Shelton at WrestleMania. I actually would rather see after Royal Rumble V and Mark stay as a tag team.

  • Overall I enjoyed the payperview Id give it a 8-10

  • I think MVP shoulda gone over Rey in any way possible, except for the use of look-alikes.

  • great vid. biothes

  • I'm fine with both of those, but Edge winning the belt in the stupid way he did I was upset with. Also Orton didn't even go over Jericho, which was also stupid.

  • Orton going over Jericho would have been stupid as you would have killed everything you did to bring Jericho back this was there only way out really with out Jericho winning. Edge winning the belt was just the way you would think he would win it by being sneeky.

  • In my humble opinion, the match should have not happened in the first place. They should have built Jericho back towards the title and feud with guys such as Kennedy and Umaga, and at the very least, wait couple months, if not few, before giving him the belt, instead of the rush job they have done with him.

  • He coulda gone over Jericho in dirty fashion, perhaps even with the help of JBL, fans would have seen it that way. I just think it was another stupid booking decision where they're proving once again that they're doing everything that they can to make Orton seem like the most non-credible champion next to Rey Mysterio last year.

  • They are thinking that EDGE is one of if not the best wrestler in the company and should be champion and they are think Y2J isn't getting over like they should and that they want to finally give a heel a longer title reign.

  • Close to what Csonka had.

  • me and him are usualy pretty close to eachother so I would say we have simular likes and dislikes.
