His writing doesnt prove there was any connection to the Biblical Moses. Many scholars believe his writings were altered to include the name of Moses. I believe that everyone that commented that this was a roman statue is correct. Besides the fact that Yisraelites were not to cut their beards (Lev. 19) unless there was an infection (Lev. 14). The man in the statue clearly had a close cut shave on his face which was very Romanish. Elohim made beards on man as a distinctiveness between man and woman.

His writing doesnt prove there was any connection to the Biblical Moses. Many scholars believe his writings were altered to include the name of Moses. Regardless it proves nothing but Manetho's beliefs about a man by that name. Josephus was a historian too, and he didnt share Manetho's view of Moses. If there even WAS a Moses.
