@nubblecakes I have been playing this for over 10 years and I dare anyone to challenge me in it. I wish that there was an online version for the WII because it would just be cool. You just need lots of patients and determination. I been at this game to long I know.
Man... I have the jap version on my computer, and I can't even get past the first level on round games. why? I only get Whit bombs until I clear all white items, then red bombs. also wario's elbow-rate increases each time...
You all do realise that you can start at 105, 110, 115, etc, right? You don't have to start at 100.
On the leaf screen (where you choose which round to play) go to the leaf with "100" on it, and keep pressing 'right arrow'. The number will increase if you've completed 105 or higher.
I found out today that you hit the ceiling at255...suddenly I thought wtf I thought I was way further than that! It was a real bummer because it was so much fun getting better and progressing more and more. 999 wouldn't been great but I guess the super nintendo can't handle anything over 255.
Still a fantastic game, and also so much fun to play with friends!!:D
So Toad is the hero is this game. That new. Usually Mario battles Wario. I guess Toad deserve to be a hero. Unless you use Toad to fight the final boss in Super Mario Brothers 2.
That's a very good point - never totally occured to me that that is the case. I've been playing the games for years (just started playing again last night in fact) - wonder what the logic to use toad was. I know there is a story, but the story could have just as well been Mario.

shit i'm stuck at 9x....the problem i have is that i can't bomb fast enough and get enough combos....when wario comes i get screwed over pretty quick

This is the god amongst all puzzle games, and if you can beat this level, you are the most fucking GODLIKE person in the world.
I love this game though. I had countless hours of fun playing this in Marketing while not doing my projects. :D
