I seriously don't know what everyone is bitching about. This was awesome. She's not trying to sound like Amy. She wants to make it to fit her style. And I think she did a great job. It had a lot of emotion and I just wish she held that note 2:48 longer. I liked Lys Agnes's version too. I obviously like the original more but this was definitely impressive.

i don't know about anyone else, but i personally liked it. She put her one "opera" spin on it and that's what you're supposed to do when you cover a song. It's just amazing in a different way than Amy Lee. <3

She does a good job, but what makes this a great song is the softness of the main lyrics (which she aces) coupled with the incredible energetic "edge" going on in the background. The song is missing its soul here. It's like the old 50's white artist (e.g. pat boon) versions of black songs.

And so Katherine did it, and to me, it was truly refreshing and fantastic. I think Evanescence's version is too haunting, slightly too noisy and lakcs the melancholy in the lyrics.

@ilikerockmusic123 hm, I think I got your position wrong in my former comment (response to perljadie). Yes, Ev's music is noisy because it is meant to stir you up. You're not supposed to feel confortable (if you did you'd be put to sleep^^), but to feel the pain. That's why Ev's music is somewhat of a chore to listen to, which doesn't mean it isn't great cuz it definitely is.

It is full of drama. This version, on the other hand, is Celine Dion in disguise to me.
