Ya Ya Ya....Prince George is nicer than a lot of other places...small town goodness and a relaxed pace to life.....but be warned....February is enough to drive even the most Buddha-like individual to contemplations of doom......after October to January...winters first half....there is the slow and sometimes unnoticable march toward spring.....which usually is not complete until the beginning of April if your lucky
actually I'm from saudi arabia but I'm living in prince george right now and I'll be here for 6 years to study whan i came here i was worried and i thght it is boring city but now i think it is my home i adapt with it , i infer every city is great if you are ready to see that ,,i have to ay thanks pg and thanks to your a nice people
I was born and raised in P.G. A rough around the edges town with a great heart. Ever hear of the Island Cache? The other side of the C.N.R. tracks? Thats where I grew up and lived in fear of getting beat up by the Paquettes or Princes (The Indians or now known as First Nations) but I survived. Thanks Prince but I have moved on. I will always remember the smell of money though.
After having lived in Whitehorse for a year, there's nothing I would love more than to return to Prince George. Thank you for helping me remember some of the best times in the city.
I went to PG in the fall of '70 - checked out a couple of years later. Didn't have the brains to stay with a good thing. Hope you'll do something similar for Canada day! Well done, and thank you very much!
Nice job. At least you were not like that realtor guy who is in love with the sound of his own voice and likes to watch himself drive around in his car and quote stats about PG. You showed a more refined sence of belonging, and you make me proud to be a long term resident of this lumber town.
Brought a tear to my eye, and a lump in my throat. Was born and raised in PG, but have been on Vancouver Island for over 10 years. Every Christmas, I miss PG.
i'm from PG i'm still living here, all of that is soo true, winter driving IS better, cause it DOES fill all those darn pot holes everywhere...PG would be a nice place if we didn't have such crappy roads! I enjoy the winter here ^_^
Cool video...even though I grew up in Quesnel, and am supposed to hate PG'ers, well done...living in the lower mainland aint all its cracked up to be. I'd move back in a heartbeat if job allowed.
Making me even more homesick than I already was. I miss the north something fierce!! Love the video, this northern girl has been in the south too long!
More things that I miss about PG...confederate flags and red pick up trucks. ;)

It's funny when you see drivers in vancouver and they get a bit of snow on the roads, then end up in the ditch...

Nice Vid. Made me glad I moved away from Vancouver. And having lived here for 13 years now, I am in total agreement: Winter Driving is easier!
As for driving the speed limit in a blizzard, it was only because I was following the snow ploughs!
