  • Looks like bare Silicon cycling wafers... obviously the front end handler had a major problem... chuckle.

  • With all the particles coming off that cell phone, you could completely ruin all the... nevermind.

  • LOL - way to go, Buddy!

  • It does not seem to be F24 - judging on the date and the use of mobile phone. Was that FOUP locked down?

  • wat is wrong with foup people dis days.... damn yall should come ove hea pwun ese or osukosuk... wakakakak... kapwong seni ngang pwun im frm foup too..

  • are u glad there was a camera taking vid..otherwise the supervisors put the blame on someone.

  • Which fab did this happen at? I can only guess this either a test video from loadport manufacturers. It's good thing those appear to be only test wafers (bare silicon?).

  • I think it's pretty obvious that it's not a test. They look mighty confused, and the tool alarm is going off. Also, if you pause at the right moment, you can see the wafers before they spill - definitely not bare. That right there is very likely a $25,000 malfunction (wafer cost = manhours spent + money spent)

  • To clarify, that $25,000 is fab-cost, not loss of sales. A whole scrapped lot could have cost millions in lost revenue depending on what was on them.

  • @scholzie and at wha stage of the process the accident occured

  • no comment :-)

  • great to see wafers smash!
