  • Don't ever put anything in a gel candle that could burn and catch fire (baby bottle) If you put anything in make sure it's something like glass or shells!

  • What temperature did you use on the electric stove, how long did you let the wax cool, and did you put the first layer of wax, let it cool and then reapeat the layers of wax? TFS

  • Great video but you forgot the wick LOL, then again you probably don't want to burn it. Either way you did a great job!

  • this is a great video.....even if you got roped into it. Thanks for sharing it with us!

  • That was an adorable video... Just sayin... But what about a wick?

  • CPT!!!

  • Great idea!!! Thank u!

  • how long do yu have to cook the gel wax??!!

  • LOVED IT. I Got some sand and conchas at the beach and made candles for my cousins quinceañera I added purple dye and chose a lavender scent. Thanks!

  • Where is the wick?

  • @myhideaway08 this was only a display sorry :) but to add the wick is not to much of a problem ... next time I make a candle i'll video that part for you

  • im sorry but you are just adorable!

  • I love this movie and I love that it is a cute guy making the video!!!!

  • Hey how do you make the gel wax firm? Cz I made one and it seems soo soft and if its turn to a side it melts off the container... plus the wick doesnt stay straight... What did I do wrong mate?

  • @5uperman77 you gotta let the gel wax cool off to become firm... try placing in the refrigerator for a little after you are done. it wont be hard as a brick but it should be more like jello.. thats as hard as it will get. the wick you probably should dip in regular wax (just melt a regular candle and use that wax) dip it a few times, let it cool and try using one of those wick anchor they sell in craft stores... otherwise you have to prop it up with maybe a wood skewer like a " T " -Goodluck E

  • if i want to add color to it can i just use food coloring ?? im trying to make some margarita candles for a party i would really appreciate it if u could help me please !! love your video by the way

  • It is nice seeing a guy do a video like this.

  • hey how do u do it for it to not creat so much bubbles?

  • @mateo419 the main idea to not get bubbles is slow pouring and fast cooling... so pour slow... dont splash, give it time to soak in (like getting all the nooks and crannies filled in) then quickly putting into your fridge or something to allow quick cooling. That should minimize your bubbles :) - Good luck

  • Is it technically a candle? Wheres the wick? Still a good video sir.

  • hey wats that brown stuff in there???????????

    pls do reply...........

anyways thnx i can give it to my friend as birthday gift.............

  • @jifinjosechiramal brown ?? haha.. are you talking about what I used to make the "L" ... if so then that is just glitter glue... It is Purple, but with the lighting I guess it does look brown haha.. if its not what your talking about just let me know and I'll answer your question again haha.. till then have a good time with the project and I hope your friend enjoys your gift. - E

  • @egcrossmover- hey its the brown stuff on which you write "L", i wanted to know wats dat... is it sand or something?????????

    thanx for replying.............

  • Awesome indeed.

  • Oops ,,,HOW to do them up..whew, sorry! 0_0

  • Good video. I purchased five huge blocks of gel wax, without having a clue hoe to do them up, thanks dude!

  • @TheLoneWolf52 haha it happens... i bought A LOT with bright ambitions too... enjoy and have fun... its a cool hobby :)

  • @TheLoneWolf52 can i know where u bought the ge lwax?

  • @seetheng26 From a seller that has been selling them on eBay forever. I was going to make them up as 'champagne glass' candles, hence they have a champagne 'coloring'. Really pretty gel.

  • @TheLoneWolf52 thats cool, you can do all kinds of stuff ... I tried doing the whip cream look using "paraffin" but its a tough wax to use. film your project I would love to see it.

  • @seetheng26 honestly its been SOOOOO long since I actually purchased the bulk order of gel wax, but what I do remember is shopping for it online. Try a google search for bulk gel wax. Im sure you will find what your looking for. :) good luck

  • gel wax. do u have to use a dye if you want a dif color? or you could buy a premade colored gel

  • @bebemaj you can find the dye at Michaels or any hobby shop (Im pretty sure) I think the color dye is stronger than that of food coloring. So no need for pre colored gel :) you can make it up on the spot ... happy creating!

  • what about the wick?

  • @cuttingcorners47 yeah sorry... haha ... that is why I called it a "display", but to add the wick is simple maybe on the next video :) ... thx for catching that...
