backwards crossovers video would be sweet. maybe something on taking a hit/giving one? playing against players way better than you? tips for acceleration? 1 on 1 d/offense. love the videos tho
i dont prefer cradling the puck, i find it more useful to tap the puck as it hits my stick so it both stabilizes it and keeps it in front of me, this works especially well at the end of the period when the puck flips and rolls a little more.
@FartingNfalling That's what I mean in the article when I say that sometimes you just need to slow it down. It is still good to learn the craddle method first though.
Jeremy, I wanna tell you that your videos are awesome. I feel like after watching your stickhandling and wrist shot videos, I've gotten sooo much better. Do you think you could put a video up on how to stop in roller hockey?
Make a video about how to properly shoot on the ice, I've been playing hockey for about 5 years now and I just cant quite get the hang of it, could you give me some on ice help ?
@outlandor13 We have a plethora of shooting videos. Slapshot, wristshot, snapshot, back hand, you name it, we got it. They range from the basic "how to" to shooting while skating, etc. check out our channel.
Are you still active on this channel? And you should do a video of how to use skates on dekes and stuff like that :) Btw, is there more Rightys that Leftys in Canada? Here in Finland, most of the people use left. I'm righty myself. Love your vids, keep up the good work!
I'm 14 years old kid from Finland. I have played hockey for 1 year when i was like 8 years. Should I be good if I would continue now? I'm little overweight but is that a problem?
hey, for a deke of the week video could you make one that shows the "Russian move" i can do it but a video showing proper technique would be good because i always feel uncomfortable with my balance for a few moments after so its hard to get the shot off! thanks.
I was wondering if you could give me a few tips cause i cant really find anything online about this. I'm a decent skater but when I get the puck my speed just dives. have any tips for accelerating and skating with the puck? Thanks love the vids
Hey guys. Love your videos! Could you make a video on receiving breakout passes from your D? I always have difficulty with that.. I'm often lucky just to touch it to negate icing. My teammates don't like passing it up to me because I miss it. I noticed you are a righty and your buddy is a lefty, so you should be able to show both sides (I'm a righty and actually have more trouble playing RW because the breakout is often in my feet). Thanks!
I love your vids and the site is great. This particular one helped me a lot. You should think of finding a goalie to do this with might make the videos better and give tips to the goalies out there.
Thank you so much! I've had a dreadful time receiving passes in a game, particularly when it is not on the tape or catching it on the backhand...now I know why and what to work on!
I wanted to ask if you could create some kind of instruction that would tell how to analyse recent mistakes made when performing a snapshot? I mean I have a camera and tripod and I don't have anyone to watch me making a snapshot (I really suck in this, unfortunately).
So anyone in a situation like mine could make a record of him or herself on a camera, photo-camera or even cellphone and with your help analyse his (or hers) mistakes.
@HamsterCatLionn When it comes to skates, It's all about skill level. higher level skates will help, to some extent, if you've been playing/skating for a while, I would consider upgrading to something along the lines of the One80.
@HamsterCatLionn There good skates but there not like top of the line. But there still very good skates. The best skates are usually up to 800 dollars or more. An example would be the total ones but youve got a good pair if youve just started skating or playing hockey
Jeremy this a totally different question but what can i use on the roll up shooting pad to make it slide better .. I know it tells me but i dont understand
Thank you! This is exactly what I was looking for! Just got on the ice again for the first time after a ten year hiatus. Haha
