The great majority of troops are trained at the Bangladesh Military Academy (BMA). Likewise, Pakistan often sends a handfull of its troops to train at BMA every year. Bangladesh army sends selected officers for training to other foreign countries including ROK, China, Russia, USA, etc.

Soni...it is not true that most bangladesh army get training in Pakistan. Only a handfull of bangladesh army cadets visit Pakistani training academies. The great majority of troops are trained at the Bangladesh Military Academy (BMA). Likewise, Pakistan often sends a handfull of its troops to train at BMA every year. Bangladesh army sends selected officers for training to other foreign countries including ROK, China, Russia, USA, etc.

Its army is built to deal with interal ethnic conflicts to keep the country united... and deal with the huge natural dasasters that the country suffers due to its geographic position... Yeah sure India/Pakistan's got bigger armies. But go n hve a background check. Indian Army is one of the most corrupt organisations in India. And lets nt even get into talking bout the level of corruption of Pakistan Army. Meanwhile Bangladesh Army is one of the least corrupted sector in the country. They have served the country internally, as well as earned us fame in the UN missions. Cuz of 1971 & UN Missions, they have brought the Bengali race the fame of being "BIR"s or "Bold Fighters".
