My problem is with the military. I am currently in the ARNG having started with the active duty Marine Corps. I called an AF recruiter to see about a transition and was told they dont want anyone under 28. The Army active duty slots are being eaten up by 18 year olds with no job skills. Other branches are doing the same thing.

I have experience and think my existing service should get me ahead of an 18 year old.

Employers shouldnt be allowed to fire older employees just to hire someone younger who they can get to work for less pay. This is just wrong.

Exactly. Anyone who chooses to be stupid such as firing someone because of age should be tossed in jail for a very long time.
