dont know why some people would rate this higher than mgs ff7,8 or other psx classics. irritaiting characters, boring fights(after 3-5 hours youd rather hear somebody puke, the music fight is nauseus), the tile battlefield is needles, you just run to enemy and whack them, the time needed to finish is a laugh, i changed the first disk after 1-2 hours . overall only fans of shadowhearts are jerking off to his game. the game has its bright sides, such as scariness, but come on, its mediciore

@brickheadstudio Dude, you have to bear in mind this was made for the PSOne engine, which could only do so much at the time.. You play a game for the storyline, and this one's was epic to be fair, so for me, that outweighs all the finnicky things that might grate you about this game. I certainly wouldn't say it was better than the FF games as I am an avid fan, but I wouldn't say it was mediocre either, far from it! ^_^

@twiclipse09 I play a game for storyline AND gameplay, this is what makes game a game and not a book. Dont know why are you saying that im not minding psone engine, im not saying anything about graphics, im just highlining bad things that could be done better at the time. There are tons of underrated psone games(the unholy war anyone?), but this aint underrated, its just boring crap that has some attention becouse of shadow hearts now. Storyline is quite good thought.
