I have a similar stand and it seems that it the two lights in the middle are in the exact center. If this is the case, do you have a center vertical pipe that supports it? If so, how do you have your lights directly in the center? Btw awesome lighting setup!!! looks really clean. How did you keep all the wires so tidy? Thanks!
@DJRHOMUSIC I strive for a very clean setup. I can't stand seeing wires strung everywhere, and especially not different color. One trick, though very expensive is to use industry specific BLACK extension cords where necessary. The other trick, I will private message you.
@JSprayaEntertainment Of course its a dead dance floor. This is pre event. When there is an event taking place, I am more worried about making sure everything goes accordingly, than taking a cool video.
@c2djservices It is an Onstage Sounds truss in this video. I like it very much, and it fits pretty well into the OSS accessory bag. I also have a Chauvet truss which I completely despise setup and tear down as there are not quick knobs but everything uses recessed hex screws. The only other things negative about both trussing systems is the plastic connections. I really wish they were metal to hold everything more securely. I also wish both had a hole and safety pin right below the truss itself
@OldGoaT7 While I could do this, I won't. It crossed my mind, but I am not that worried about it. It would be a feature I would have preferred to have already been done, but truthfully its like a 200 dollar truss. Not a huge deal.
@DJRuss96 Thank you very much. It has taken me a long time to decide which ones to buy, and which ones to leave alone, and how to make them all look good together.
@openmikestlouis Your welcome, and thats my problem to is deciding what lights to get, theres so many lights out there now that its hard to choose, theres alot to choose from but alot are expensive too, i just got a new light, the american dj vertigo tri led. i really like it! I plan to have all or most of my lights LED from now on.
@DJRuss96 The vertigo is a decent inexpensive light, however, its not DMX, which means once its up in the air, all you can do is turn it on or off. Try to stick with lights that you can link together via DMX and that way you can control the speed, color, blackout, etc. via a DMX controller.
It's a nice setup, but pls slow down with the lights.
It looks like a strobo this way
