i love black people but i hate that i have to be so careful around them because they might get offended by something that means nothing i wish everyone had the same skin color so all this would stop
she had arms and legs lol.. it is true though alot of people dont want to explain people by the color of skin.. in todays society its become an awkward situation in case of offence ect..
@icytea5 no. The 'ghost' seemed very nice. I don't know why people have this stupid, irrational misconception about ghosts. People don't suddenly turn evil when they die lol
@MEareCAT lol I don't think you can call it a "misconception" because that would imply that they are unaware of the truth, and there has never been proof of the existence of ghosts nor any form of continuation after death. But I will agree that if there were spirit forms manifested after death, it makes no sense that they would all suddenly turn evil. A plausible theory might be that good souls leave humanity alone, while only the evil ones make the appearance to wreak havoc. :p
Why are people having such a hard time just taking a joke? Quit overanalyzing everything....having to describe a joke is like dissecting a frog....it pretty much is destroyed in the process!!!
@luvCKay It's just skin colour though, it's not like saying white people is offensive either... I seriously doubt that any sane black person would get offended at being called black
@Whydoesthissitesuck well I don't like it when some white people say "a black". Like "she's a black"...Like I'm either "black" or "a black person" pick one.....but there is nothing wrong with noting someone's complexion as brown.
@BatmansFavoriteGirl because black people make so much commotion over little shit like this that white people dont want to say something because you guys just want to punch and kill everything
@missgurl747 everyone's different. but some people do get offended over things that aren't offensive. this is a social commentary... even being insulted by someone not wanting to say "she was black" falls under its umbrella.
@BatmansFavoriteGirl because you know how overly sensitive and defensive people are when you call someone black... they will immediately label you "racist" even though you don't have the intention to be racist at all...
@BatmansFavoriteGirl The skit is making fun of the fact that society in America is incredibly race-sensitive (at least towards black people) and people's silly attempts to be politically correct.
"She's bl-. Dark haired. She was wearing a blazer. Real pretty, young, she had beautiful, smooth skin. She had arms... and legs... Umm... I guess if she watches TV her favorite show wouldn't be friends...If she had a favorite president, it would probably be Lincoln."
She's trying to not sound racist which is really sweet ... ALTHOUGH too bad she didn't learn the lady's name, but hey not alot of people do learn that when at a store.
@kilssj2250 She's trying not to be, but in the process she sounds even more racist. It would have been less (and by less, I mean not at all) to just say the girl was black.
i woulda just said "the black woman"
