I saw Slade in Vienna in 2003. Even though there was only half of original line-up, still they were awesome. Of course, if Noddy Holder hadn't been the frontman in Slade, this band wouldn't have been so great to such extend. However we have what we have. KEEP ON ROCKING!!!!!!!!!! OH< YEAAAAAAAAH!!!!
This was probably one of the best bands ever in crankville that never really made it in the US...I saw them many times in late and early 90's. PUre f*cking Class and showmenship...this is one of my top 10 songs ever in hard rock...thanks for the great memories!

Sorry spanker, this is a great song and a change of pace by a great band that proved they weren't just able to push out what they're famous for.
I grew up with Slade's music and to this day they're still one of my favourite two or three bands.

@fodsaks: Well, just start writing own songs then, you can only improve ...maybe you'll succeed. I'm not good at making music, but I like writing texts... ...I hope one day I will know just how it has to sound on my guitar & keyboards. But I refuse pressure or help from others. I wanna find it out myself. My song(text)s are my babies. I want no-one to "harm" them in setting limits or too many suggestions on how to do it right. I want to master it myself or with very, very small help. Wanna rock!

I was lucky enough to see them live back in the early 70s. Great band with very catchy tunes and brilliant on stage. Mediocre?Better music? Now? Don't make me laugh...will the rubbish that you listen to today be played in 30 years time? No way!!!!

I saw Slade in Vienna in 2003. Even though there was only half of original line-up, still they were awesome. Of course, if Noddy Holder hadn't been the frontman in Slade, this band wouldn't have been so great to such extend. However we have what we have. KEEP ON ROCKING!!!!!!!!!! OH< YEAAAAAAAAH!!!!

This was probably one of the best bands ever in crankville that never really made it in the US...I saw them many times in late and early 90's. PUre f*cking Class and showmenship...this is one of my top 10 songs ever in hard rock...thanks for the great memories!
