I don't think comparing the mesh on the two tells the whole story. To me the winding of the coil, with the 1.5 ohm HH.357 using a lower resistance wire and a longer coil, with more turns, is more important. I've used several different hybrids on my Vmods, and after breaking them in, the HH.357 is significantly stronger in flavor and vapor. They are hand-made, and some units will vape better than others. If you get a mediocre one, they will rebuild it at no charge w/in 30 days. Maybe not yours :)
Thanks for the video. Excellent review and gutsy move all together! Hybrids seem to just be the way to go with BFeeders. Subin your channel man. Really good stuff...
Thanks for your reviews I just found your video's and I was thinking of trying a .357 but now Iv seen inside of one I don't think I'll waste the money! I take a real long hit and can see me getting a dry hit with those! But I think I'll try the the cheaper addy because of the wicking I can see it staying wetter longer! Thanks for your reviews! And I do get a V 2.1 and Iv had 3 bottles now and have give up on it!
Nice vid! I have so far purchased 3 of the HH357's and two of the hybrids for my wife and me... but your explanation and dissection makes me understand why I like the 357 more. I'm a dripper, and have no feeder mods at all, bottom or top.
What I like about the 357 is the amount of vape and the lower instance of clogging (I tend to vape very dark, sugary liquid) and now I understand why it works better FOR ME.
Have you tried Avid's other atties? The 510 LR Cisco spec has a metal mesh which looks very similar to the hybrids. I drip on it and it is fantastic. However, the wick is the same as on the 357.
Thanks for the review. Though I like other Cisco spec atties I will not be trying out the 357 (they have been sold out and I have just been waiting for them). Next order will be for one of the hybrids, I have to try them out now.
I forgot to say that i use my HH357 on my reo mini and it works great! There is a lil learning curve to use it with the reo tho but once you get the hang of it it performs awesome IMO! Thanks good review!
You need to follow the instruction the HH357 atomizer and practice your draw speeds on it. I have had my HH357 for over a month now and it performs just as good as the first day i bought it. IMO the HH 357's wins hands down to the hybrid! In performance flavor and vapor... You may want to contact cisco so he can exchange your atty for you. You may have got a bad one because mine is the best atomizer ive ever used. Keep the HH357 wet!
@ewagner75 I agree. The 357 is amazing. I have 3 of them now and all work consistently well. I have not had a single issue with these atties and one of them has been going strong for a month plus now. Just clean em out, do an alcohol rinse every so often and they'll keep on vaping like their brand new. I don't understand why others are having issues with these. Just follow the instructions they send with it and you'll be fine. The draw is the biggest thing to get used to, but vape amazing
@ FieldOfVapor, Everyone is entitled to their opinion and I respect yours. I was wondering if you contacted customer support at Avid to let them know that you were having issues with your .357?
@SharonVapetress I spoke with Cisco a few times, he's got fantastic customer service. Beyond any other vender I have dealt with. This was my second .357 atomizer...both displayed the same finicky experience. I really think that the .357 can easily be fixed simply by making the wick simular to the Hybrid wick.
@FieldOfVapor agreed, but also i believe it's more of an opinion. i think they both have potential, just not right for you. in order to truly understand you should experience yourself, although this is a great video explaining how different the two actually are. great review!
@VaporJoe I have a tremendous amount of respect for Cisco and Hanna...I'm sure that they understand that I'm just giving my opinion and that I mean no ill will towards either one of them. I imagine they have too much integrity to resort to leaving profanity on someone's channel.
Excellent comparison. I'm a 2-month eGo user interested in bottom feeders but I've avoided going that root to date until I find a suitable reliably atty. Looks like you just gave me a good pull in that direction with the hybrid atty. Much appreciated. :)
@OrthodoxAtheist The only bottom feeders I have are the Reo Grand and the Revolution 2.1. I like the Reo Grand much better...but it is a good deal more expensive then the Revolution. That said...there are a ton of different bottom feeding mods out there...it might be worth it to watch a few reviews of other units before you make a decision.
@BeyondTheRevolution I was at the Philly Vapefest...it was fun...but I had to leave early because my girlfriend was getting a headache from the mixture of smells in the air.
Hybrid, is the AMG from Vapage.com one you are talking about? If so, I have that and the flavor is superb, great flavor, nice easy draw, no leaking and agree no dry hits, no flooding!!!
Thanks for the detailed video and the honest report. I've been mostly a cartomizer guy but am toying with the idea of getting a bottom-fed mod. Any recommendation on a particular mod? Thanks!

Very informative review, I just order some atties and wonder about the HH.357. It's very pricey compared to other alternatives. Thanks for sharing.
