Lightning and Thunder Storm, New York City, 8/18/09

i was in that storm.me and my dad saw billy eliot that night and when we came out it got rele windy.we looked up and saw small flashes of lighting,as we continued walking through the streets it got the worst that it could get that night.we had to wait for almost 2hrs for it to stope.we waited under a walkway cover on 34th streeet.we woke up the next morning and put on the radio and it was all over the news and that 1000 trees in central park had gone down.it was pretty terrifing.
