1200-2000lb Kodiak/Polar bear would knock the tiger out fuck it in the ass wait for it to wake up and then kill it in under 20 seconds. people for the LAST time stop living in a fantasy world NO tiger even an 800lb Siberian is going to do shit to a 3/4 TON bear
IT'S JUST NOT GOING TO HAPPEN. any tiger can eat a dead bear carcass or kill a weak or sick bear, but a healthy one-FORGET IT !!! guy states the tiger can kill a "fully"grown bear but didn't mention a fully grown 300lb Asian bear !!
Apex predators in their environment don't give a fuck.. this tiger is twitchy which suggests it isn't at the top of its chain.. if its due to humans then that's sad, otherwise, if a bear is close then that's why it is twitching.. which also tells us the narrator is full of shit.. which isn't an uncommon scene in a lot of wildlife videos.
I can take down an 300 lb. NFL lineman if I sneak up on him and attack him from the rear, but what would happen if I challenged him face to face? Same with a tiger against a brown bear. It could kill a brown bear by a sneak attack from the rear but face to face, it would be suicide for the tiger to fight a brown bear of equal or greater size. The largest brown bears are much larger than the largest tigers also. Watch the animal face off animation between a tiger and bear on YouTube.
I found it funny when people debate on whether the Amur tiger can take down a Brown bear... So what if The tiger can take down a bear?? A full grown Amur tiger which is 800 lb taking down a 1500 lb bear is natural, just like a 40 kg Pit bull can take down a 120 kg man.
Don't tel me it is again American ego that Grizzly must be the winner, just becuase Amur tiger can only be found in Russian And China....
Besides, the tiger is much more precious than the grizzly.
Why is this video edited so we can not hear certain parts? I will guess its because the say something about bear and tiger that is not in the favor of tiger.
I come from Sikhote Alin and I know brown bears are very dominant towards tiger. Tiger only attack cubs and small female weighing less then 100 kg. But females in S-A is very small and can weigh as little as that. Never has there been whitnessed a tiger attack a fully grown male brown bear. But bears have killed large grown male tigers.
@Nicolai188 They forgot to say that a "fully grown Bear" in this case means HYBERNATING females weighing 80- 100 kg. The Sikhote Brown Bear are very small compared to the Kamchatka Brown Bears and females weigh only 100- 200 kg.
Not once in history have they even seen a Tiger taking on a fully grown male, no matter what weight or if it hibernating or not. They have seen Tigers turning abrubtley away from dens with male Bears, not wanting to get to close.
When comparing cats to other animals, such as Hippos, bulls, elephants, bears or other large animals, one must make it a pound for pound comparison, say a 1200 pound grizzly, which would defeat a 150 pound cougar most of the time, however, imagine a 1200 pound cat..nothing matches the felines pound for pound.
More often than not, fully grown brown bears kill tigers over meals and territory. Tigers mainly hunt young or sick brown bears or smaller black bears; fully grown adult bears are too great of a size for tigers to defeat.
@Casioo24. None of this animals dominates each other.... if you whant to put true and real facts do it.. and get a life your self instead aswell... haha.. in fact both brown bear and tigers avoid each other at all cost´s, but as tigers are more predatory than bears, cus bears are more passive, its mostly the tiger that attack the bear, but ofcourse it doesent mean the bear whont defend it self, and tigers have been killed by bears by failing on the attack and tigers have killed adult brown bears
The relationship between bears and tigers isn't merely of predator & prey. In fact, Brown bears at times seek out tigers and take over their kills. There is accounts of Asiatic black bears doing the same thing and even large male Sloth bears taking over female tiger kills. Hibernating brown bears, Moon bears, and especially Sloth bears are sometimes taken by tigers. Lions and tigers are very similar, but there are several accounts of grizzlies making quick work of lions. My money is on Griz
@m6333, in cages animal reacts diffrent, put an grizzley in Africa and u will se what will happend. im not saying a male lion would kill it easly but it could, mostly the bear would get killed by the pride. and felines are very stressed animals u can see that in alot of animals fight in cages Lions are very nervous. specialy if there are ppl screaming or watching.
A pride of lions has a hard enough time fighting a warthog or small hyena pack. It's doubtful that a pride of lions would fight a grizzly or north american kodiak bear, because the bear will have killed at least one lion, eliciting a retreat from the rest. How do I know? Watch bears fight each other. They fight more fiercely and quickly than lions, and kill pretty easily since they have a lot more power than a feline's bones can withstand.
@SolidSnakeRules hard time with warthogs?...a single lions can kill a warthog easy.. and hyenas,,, well hyenas attack lions with 20 members while the pride of lions is max 6-8 and as you know Teamworks mostly wins, only diffrent is that when the Male Lions is there its alweys ends with one or 2 hyenas gets killed. and a grizzley cant kill a lions that easy, if you look at ¨¨pitfights ppl did before beras did never kill lions easly
@DonChilenito Yes they did. In fact, both bears and tigers won those old fights. I've also seen them between warthogs and lions, and warthogs win. Spanish bulls too.
@SolidSnakeRules, ofcourse a lion would losse against a bull ina cage any predators would do it mostly. even a bear would, the bull have two horn in fron that will attack the predator constantly. its impossible to avoid them. if the spanish bull would go for a lion or bear in the wild the story would be diffrent.
It's a lie. The tiger can defeat maybe an adult black bear or sloth bear.......but Brown? forget it.

Most people know that one swipe of a bears paw can crush the back of a lion, this video is edited such a bad way of favouring the tiger

Brown Bears dominate tigers, and have nothing to fear from them unless they are hybernating, or young
thats all there is to it.
brown bears dominate big cats head on simply cause of all the advantages and theyre power
nothing to argue, you cat fans should finally get a life, and stop spreaing all these nonsense

@DonChilenito No, it wouldn't. A spanish bull would ravage a lion in any sort of fight. They are a lot more aggressive than buffalo.
