ok for one, lol, we were like 16 when we put the group together, and aside from that there was a guy in our school who had down syndrome who used to come visit our table at random times during lunch and he referred to each of us by adding " imal " to our names so we just kinda took it and went with it.. The group name in a nutshell
Um, it's been 10 years and two weeks since we recorded this but If I remember right, I (lead) use a Selmer Paris Series II, Alto II uses an intermediate model yahama, the Tenor I believe is a Mark VI, and the bari is a Selmer but I don't remember what model...
Honestly I have no idea, some were quartet things we found at our highschool, or from other people in the area, and I remember us picking up some stuff from the All-State convention once or twice, but that was ages ago, I haven't seen our bari player in a good 7 or 8 years now, and I only see our second alto player like once a year or so...
haha...wut a cheap song to play...u can do better, I know...I am a sax player, and everyone in my section knows this lamo song(no offense), but come up with something cooler or w/e like "The Maple Leaf Rag" thats a sweet song for sax
umm... by a cheap song, which are you referring to? Cuz, I do believe there are four different pieces on this video. Beside the fact that what's on this video, made up maybe 5-10% of our repotoire which, looking back on it myself, I don't think is all too shabby for a highschool sax quartet...
hey, sistahsixythree. I know what I mean by bass sax because I am a saxophone clinician. if you dont see one yet just type bass sax on your search ingine and you will see one. It's ok some of the saxophone students doesn't know really that there is a bass sax. I forgive you, have a nice day.
you know... in response to these... I have always wanted to just play a bass for a while... I enjoy playing bari every once in a while but have always wanted to get my hands on a bass just for fun! Hehe ;o)
not to be mean but the saximals... lol

You guys have a great sound. Your bari player is really good. Where do you get your arrangements from? They're very well done.
