@FeyteliciouZ Depends what else you want to do. If you're more into social networks, an Eseries is fine. If you just want a basic phone, and can get an Eseries cheap (otherwise it'd be overkill), then go for it too.
If you want a multi-media focused phone, then no, get something else.
Congratulations on a great review. It was smart covering the stuff other reviews don't seem to deal with, but which are quite important. Just wondering, do you know if this phone has a voice recorder facility? And whilst I'm at it, how do you think this phone stands up now compared to the pantheon of other phones?
@cosytoesUK Hi & thanks for the feedback. Yes this phone does have a recording application, which will even record phone calls (everyone: always tell the other end you're recording). I think the E55 stands up extremely well these days, depending on what you want from it. In fact, I've just written a two-part long-term review of this phone over at All About Symbian .com.
@rahmannoor Hi there. GPS isn't network dependant. GPS will work alone, although it's slow to get an initial fix on its location. Using the network is a means of giving you an approximate location, very quickly. However, I'm not entirely sure if you need a data account.
Thanks for the pm, David. My problem with kdenlive is that all the "nice-to-have"-profiles are greyed out. I did a little research on this, but couldn't find anything. Codecs are installed....
the vibration mode on this phone is really bad..i can hearly feel it vibrate..everything else is good

How is youtube on the phone.

@GerudoUK YouTube works great, either by using the Flash player in the web browser, or by installing the YouTube application

Thx for the review dude.
just one question: Is the GPS (on any phone for that matter) network dependent?
Meaning do you need a data plan with the carrier for using GPS?
Thanks and sorry for my ignorance, I don't know much abt GPS..

@Nokia E55: I'm jealous, man!
@production of this vid: We use the same tool - kdenlive. May I ask what settings you have for rendering your projects?

That 3rd party PAA repository I sent you a link for should fix that - it did for me.
