Ruined a sacred song. I appreciate you trying to add your own style but this cover does not do this masterpiece justice. No on can sing like chris Martin can and correct mixture sound from the instruments. Furthermore coldplay are freakn gods of light rock

@natejakeproductions People have this misperception that a cover is supposed to be somehow identical to the original version. Often my favorite covers are where the musician took the existing song and did something completely different with it. Check out Eva Cassidy's version of 'Autumn Leaves' (compared to the original jazz standard, as sung by Edith Piaf, for example) and Chris Cornell's version of 'Billie Jean'. The world is a place full of unique individuals.

auto tuner takes the pitch of your voice and "rounds" it to the nearest note, delivering the actual pitch of the note you are trying to sing. Alot of major artists use this, some call it the "T-Pain" effect, (which is alot more noticeable). Applied at a small amount, Auto Tuner is helpful, especially live, where its tough to hear yourself, however, overused, it can get annoying and masks true vocal tone.

I was actually ar this show... hehe... for all of you saying that the drummer is over the top... Benton is a single act, and only sometimes he has a bassist and drummer, etc... he "subs them out" so to speak. They are people that he knows. I have been at some of his shows where that was their 2nd practice together... he (the drummer) is over the top though... i agree

This cats vocals at 00:49,1:16,1:36,2:05,and especially 2:16 makes him a relevant artist truly brilliant...However his drummer is playing on top of the beat which tends to make it sound rushed and all though its not it really.Its not meant to be on top the beat just powerful,not driving.Most people can tell if you listen to it and being that the drummer was playing traditional on his left hand tells me he should have known better maybe the chops aren't there.Nice vocal and interpretation though.
