Check out the micro body language. When he actually says that 911 was the highest moment there is a direct stare at the interviewer and a look or surpressed pride - almost glee. Whan asked to confirm that this was also his lowest moment he looks hesitant and looks away from the interviewer and does not add any further comment. These micro signals are very difficult to hide - thank goodness.
