desecration smile is one of my favourite songs on the album.. along with every other song, its the first ever album from any band where i loved every song.
@billsurf101 Yeah Chad Smith has one of those really unique styles. He does a lot of ghost notes on the snare and a bunch of different things with the bass and his hi-hat and all his other cymbals. He's certainly one of the best of the time.

Either you love them or not, but I doubt you can deny either way that they are just timeless and some of the most talented musicians around in any band. They always surprise me with their music, new and old.

I'm a big Chili Peppers fan, but i'm not too positive about their new material. Even though I was just born when BSSM came out, it didn't take me long to realize that that album was where they were at their highest. I miss their endless energy they had back in the day. With that said, this is one of their best songs in their catalog. I mean it doesn't get any better than this.
Can't wait to see what Josh will do to the Chili Peppers now that John has left the band.
@kaver91 To say that they are missing the "endless energy" of BSSM or BTW or their early stuff I think is incorrect. It's not that they are missing energy, in my opinion, their energy has been redirected. They aren't young and vicious in their playing but the energy is still in the music.
yeah sandanista is okay despite a few straight-up clash sounding songs, nothing different but it's a-okay that flea enjoys it... and oh yes @ 060710508249475 as much as i would give you a thumbs, even you know thumbs ain't much of a difference i mean... you wouldn't ask for it either... but YEAH it's all creativity so......... i mean you COULD totally play live like that, thank god the chili peppers are pulling it off, MORE BANDS SHOULD!!!
this band isn't just brilliant, they are among the few bands that can do a much better song when it's played live that on the record, and that's not as easy as it sounds, belive me, I've tried. Not that I've sold any records but if you think the same thing about them as I do, the least you can do is to vote 1+ for my comment to make people read it and just not pass while looking for arguments to join...

Either you love them or not, but I doubt you can deny either way that they are just timeless and some of the most talented musicians around in any band. They always surprise me with their music, new and old.

I'm a big Chili Peppers fan, but i'm not too positive about their new material. Even though I was just born when BSSM came out, it didn't take me long to realize that that album was where they were at their highest. I miss their endless energy they had back in the day. With that said, this is one of their best songs in their catalog. I mean it doesn't get any better than this.
Can't wait to see what Josh will do to the Chili Peppers now that John has left the band.

@kaver91 To say that they are missing the "endless energy" of BSSM or BTW or their early stuff I think is incorrect. It's not that they are missing energy, in my opinion, their energy has been redirected. They aren't young and vicious in their playing but the energy is still in the music.

yeah sandanista is okay despite a few straight-up clash sounding songs, nothing different but it's a-okay that flea enjoys it... and oh yes @ 060710508249475 as much as i would give you a thumbs, even you know thumbs ain't much of a difference i mean... you wouldn't ask for it either... but YEAH it's all creativity so......... i mean you COULD totally play live like that, thank god the chili peppers are pulling it off, MORE BANDS SHOULD!!!

this band isn't just brilliant, they are among the few bands that can do a much better song when it's played live that on the record, and that's not as easy as it sounds, belive me, I've tried. Not that I've sold any records but if you think the same thing about them as I do, the least you can do is to vote 1+ for my comment to make people read it and just not pass while looking for arguments to join...
