I always wondered.. why don't they make the fight scenes look just as good as the one in the intros?

@romainechester Because it costs more to make more fluid, colourful and higher quality animation. in your average episode there's about 25,000 or 250,000 frames, meaning they have to draw 250,000 pictures, all in detail, then piece them together, edit them with effects, then voice over them and put them out. And it takes really really long even to make an opening. The same animators for the openings also do the films, that's why the films are better quality but come out once a year.
