I got this phone off of ebay, as I lost my flip phone in the snow. It is certainly an upgrade. Now, I've looked up reviews as everybody says no, but to be sure, do I HAVE to pay the extra money fee for the mobile web and such? Since it is a smart phone. Better way to ask: Do I have to pay extra for the data package or whatever? Internet, and such? My parents don't want to pay $30 extra a month for stupid internet and stuff. The reason you had poor signal is because when u get the phone, it specifically has a little sticker on the back telling u not to put ur hand near the bottom of the back of the phone because that is where the phone gets the reception, nd get the update on the phone plz, nd but a interesting voice 2, thnx, but nice review

Yea, the latest update lets u use styluses on the screen, which lets u get to things that wuld be hectic if u could only use fingers like on the previous softwares, go get the newest update, i have it and the phone works perfectly.

For those of you with glyde touch screen problems, all you have to do is take your glyde to a verizon store and they'll swap your phone for a glyde "refresh". the refresh has a much better pressure sensitive touch screen that will solve almost all of the touch screen problems

Everybody needs to quit stabbing the glyde! They fixed all the problems. I used to have it before the reformating. It USED TO BE horrible. I now have the reformatted verision and it is great. Touch capabilty and signal is great! A+!

i dont know about the glyde but i have an env2 and i got it for like $80 and ive had it for a week and its great ive had no problems it has great speakers call quality and exxelent keyboard. i liked the glyde more at first but everyone ive takled to like verizon sales person says the glyde has lots of problems.(there are plenty of reviews supporting that on the internet.) hope that helped
