  • bring to xbla please!

  • Just beat Ultimate with 22 rings. Let me tell you, what a good morale booster XD.

I'd advice to play directly on Ultimate and avoid standard and novice as it reflects the older games much better, but I know many gamers out there just don't have the time nor patience anymore.

Anyway, gotta keep getting the remaining rings for this nightmare to end. If you hadn't notice by now, I truly recommend this game! xP

  • this game is better than any castlevania except symphony of the night

  • I bet it's safe to say that most things in this game WILL KILL YOU!

  • this game is insane... this will truly test the gamers skill to the max! Definitely one of the hardest games out there. This is old school difficulty the way it should be. :)

  • I thought that u can play when u are skeleton... I mean the trailer. Figh to death and beyond

  • hardcore gamer O.o

  • The jumping is just part of the challenge... this game was made for gaming experts on it's hardest mode....

  • yeah jumping sucks on that game...

  • Damn!!! There's like... shit everywhere in that game that is trying to kill you.

  • Oh God! Ultimate Mode? You must enjoy pain.

  • i have this game its pretty cool

  • The jumping controls are part of what makes this game unique. The people I see complaining about the jumping controls are the ones that can't appreciate what makes this game so great. The jumping adds a challenge, and makes you think twice before pressing the jump button.

  • You know Castlevania also had a jumping problem. When they changed, the series got even better. Of course there were other factors, but changing the jumping system made the characters more versatile. But it's a tradition that I think Capcom will never change. It's still fun to, just have to adapt.

  • Castlevania didn't get better :( Thankfully the new Rondo of Blood that came out for psp kept it oldschool.

SoN was mostly praised because it introduced the Castleroid design to stages.

  • Well, that's my opinion. I think Castlevania has gotten better over the year (not counting 3d ones).

  • difficulty went down the crapper. ALso, the gba/ds castlevania(excep for CotM) had too much of the kiddy anime image. But mostly the channelnge, the games are stupidly easy nowdays.

  • Ok, I'll agree with you there. Castlevania did get dramatically easier than their predecessors. But I still think that the portable ones are still fun.

  • lol Noob

  • Man, this game is just wasted on the PSP... I mean, not wasted... but it's a shame.

  • What system? :D

  • it looks great, i'd like to play it, but i have nintendo ds lol

  • This game isn't too difficult in and of itself--it's mainly the same problem with other games in the series--the restrictive jumping controls.

  • Trop dur ce jeu :)
