Is not that the movie is bad, is just that Is the same old exploted idea, that is not worthy of wearing the alice in wonderland title, it may be based alittle but it cannot be a sequel, if u like watching a lame attempt to coppy narnia and mic it with emoness, then that movie is GREAT!
Your brain is working ok. it is the eyes. i have it too, you won't go bling or anything, it's just you won't pick up 3d objects coming at you from the scren. but i can pick up 3d depth.
All the reviews I've heard of this movie are too one-sided honestly. There were a lot of good things in this movie, and a lot of flaws as well. I would honestly give it 3 stars. Johnny Depp let many fans down, while other characters turned out much better than anyone expected. The movie was very imaginitive, but moved along very randomly. If you're looking for a flawless... well made movie, maybe this isn't the movie for you, but if you're just looking for a great fun film, go for it I say
This new version of Alice in Wonderland is horrible. Johnny Depp is horrible acting worse then a gay pirate. Helen Bonham Carter is extremely annoyying. The story is a lame save wonderland giant battle and fire breathing dragons. Alice is so boring she does nothing but look dull and act as she has never been in wonderland before. This movie feels like a bad sequel. And the 3D sucks! It used for nothing but creating a lame Disneyland ride rip off. Stay Away!! Tim Burton is done and phoning it in.
Honestly, I don't think the 3d has developed... it depends if you have crappy 3d glasses or the black bulkier kind. I could be wrong, but that's my opinion. Any time I've used the black... it's been flawless... the paper red and green or w/e it is, it's always 3d but patchy at the same time with the colors and layers
Maybe not, but it's rather what I was meaning to say.
We had the black glasses, not the coloured ones, and they rocked... I assumed they were a new thing. I guess if they aren't a new thing, then 3D hasn't developed.
It's funny, I didn't plan on watching two Wes Andersen movies consecutively in the theatre. Maybe it'll be a thing for me, haha.
I wasn't aware this was in 3D (then again, I don't really pay attention/seek out this information). I've yet to see a 3D flick yet (of course), and I await the first time. I'm excited.
i just saw my first 3D film in theatre it was Avitar and wow its crazy cool how the 3D works you pay more attention to the 3D than the actual movie at some points lol.
Aparently Odeon theatres in the UK are refusing to show it, as Disney, or whoever, want to put it onto DVD sooner than would be considered normal, thus limiting potential profits for the theatre owners.
I doubt this afftects anyone outside of the UK though.
Andrea started out on a website called hotukdeals and followed all the leads and threads, to the point where now she knows all the sites that offer, promote, or otherwise give away secrets, when it comes to finding cheap or free stuff.
Anyone could do it... it's just a matter of putting in the time.
I saw Avatar yesterday at the local IMAX, yeah the 3D has improved immensly, I was totally taken in by the leafs and bits of burning spaceships dancing around my head, um I mean story :) 3D has finally come into its own, loved the GCI/Mocap blue aliens, they are nearly there with total realism, pity the Imax experience will not transfer as well to normalvision. Glad you both enjoyed Alice Its that or Avatar again :) Crispin Glover Marty Mcfly's Dad from BttFuture
Can you explain this whole "royal screening" thing some more? I mean can anyone go or how does that all work? Hope these are not questions you get all the time or something. Anyhow, I'm going bowling with Obama later so I better get ready!
The Royal bit... well... Prine Charles and Camilla Whatsherfacecantsstandthewench attended the Premier at the Odeon in London. They did the whole meet and greet thing, in front of numerous cameras.
This was all transmitted live to other theatres around the country, where the audience was able to watch the formalities.
Basically great big exclusive live TV showing a bunch of stuck up toffs going "Oh yah! Absolutely splendid. What?"
lol @ Bowling with Obama. I think that would be preferable :D
There was no flinging arms around just for effect.
It is definitely a gimic, to a certain degree, but for me, watching a whole film where alsmot every moment makes me think "wow"... it's a pretty good gimic.

Tim Burton did and amazing job by taking the original story, twisting it and turning it in to a piece of crap.
He's probably laughing his way to the bank, I'm so glad I didn't pay a dime for that movie

I wonder if it's something to do with wearing glasses that stops us from being able to focus on those things.
I'm short sighted, but struggle to focus on things that are close up, unless I take my glasses off. Probably need bifocals.

The movie was great .. and to be honest I am sick of hearing all the hateful comments.

I agree entirely. I sometimes get the feeling some commenters haven't actually seen the film... or have perhaps only seen a dodgy bootleg copy.

Yeah, I really loved it as well

i havent saw alice in wonderland so i dont think this movie will make any sence to me. i have heared a few fans of it say wtf to this new one eh.

You really don't need to have seen or read the original to appreciate this film. It's a great piece of work in its own right.
Clearly it's not to everyone's taste though... so there's no knowing if you'd actually like it or not.

Heh, that's a bit of a weird one, now I come to look back at it.
It was kind of a "There's so much about her part, where the hell can I start, and how can I tell any of it without spoiling it?"

Judging by comments on your channel, I can only surmise that your attitude is similar everywhere you go on YT.
As such, I won't worry myself about what you think :)

It wasn't a crap review man. I'm sorry I mishead you. I need to pay attention more lol. I give you props on your review

I hate it when I go to movies, no particularly renowned ones, and while exiting I hear, "Wow, that movie f-ing sucked. What a dumb film."
And all I can think of is "shit, you're saying all this money and time and effort and talent was completely pointless?"
It's like people are so immune to entertainment these days, it all has to be AMAZING just for them to be satisfied.
The last film I saw was Fantastic Mr. Fox, and before that was The Darjeeling Limited. I DO want to see this, though.

I have never understood the concept of 3D movies.
We see everything in 3d all the time.
Films are a suspension of reality - I don't need people flinging their arms round on purpose so they pop out the screen.
There was a fad about this in the late 80s, and it seems to be a fad again.
Give me 2D black and white any day.
