  • Your gift is your song and the timeless rhythm of the earth. It is the calling of all human beings to remember our ancient and primordial beginnings and realize we are never divorced from mother earth.

  • When it comes time to die, be not like those whose hearts are filled with the fear of death, so when their time comes they weep and pray for a little more time to live their lives over again in a different way. Sing your death song, and die like a hero going home. Chief Aupumut, Mohican

  • It's always wierd for me to see a female drummer. It immediately puts me at an uneasy mood. You have a great voice and sing beautifully. The spirit radiates through you and your song and druming touched my heart. I drum myself but I am a base so singing is a little chalanging.

  • beautiful i love this, i wish i was there, and dasani is my fav drink too..

  • Thanks. Actually I only had that bottle because it was the choice I had in the store we were closest to, and it was extremely hot that day.

I have to say, my favorite water is glacial water straight from the glacial rivers in BC.

But for now, I settle for the tap water of Toronto, boiled and given gratitude for.

  • This song speaks to me on such a deep level.Your voice bring about such emotion that I tend to lock away at times.I share this song with many that I care about that may need some of the healing emotions that your soulful voice brings forth.Blessings of the Earth Mother to you always...

  • is that a bottle of dasani?

    lame

  • You're right - at that time I didn't have water and it was way too hot to go without, so I had to get what was available in the nearest store.

Thanks for pointing that out. I've since gotten a permanent personal water bottle I carry at all times.

  • Very beautifull & relaxed me I will 'visit' you again thank you.

    Peace to us all.Iris.

  • Have you ever tried doing this in a crowded city centre? I'd be intrigued to hear how it goes down.

  • Yep, a few times. I sang at Nathan Philips Square in Toronto, outside City Hall, a few times. People later told me they heard me blocks away :) I was drumming at the Human Peace Sign there as well. People tend to feel calmer, relax a bit and often cry. It's a good emotional release.

  • Thanks for your inspiration!

  • You're so welcome! I'm working on another one soon...

    Peace,

    Brenda, Medicine Song Woman

  • Wonderful

  • Beautiful voice
