I have fit into spaces (not tactically, but in EMS) that men could never fit... like crawling inside a cupboard to get adequate c-spine control. My male partner could not see a way to do it (he was a big guy), I simply crawled in. Obviously there are times when being large is an advantage too (I'd say most of the time!), but it's nice when being small works in your advantage. :)
Failure to understand and appreciate the tactical environment is just as sad. Gentlemen, that is a rifle, not a golf club. DO NOT lay your weapon behind you on your legs when the threat is to the front! The bad end goes towards the bad guys! If you have to, lay it on the casualty with the safety on.... POINTING IN THE THREAT DIRECTION. What separates you from being dead or a refugee is your rifle, the touniquet is not going to help when the bad guys rush your position.
