Should have named this episode "Better Off Ted" instead of Crawl Space. Love it. Not only is Ted out of the picture for good, but Skylar is ultimately responsible for it. As soon as she finds out, she'll have to accept it, and she'll be one step closer to breaking bad. The only loose end is Mike who will come back to Walter as a potential employee or enemy and Hank who is very close to finding out, but has looked the other way to his wife's criminality and is probably the only match for Mike.

i like to think the oranges are an homage to the godfather, oranges were used a lot in that movie to signify death. and it kind of lines up with the way we're witnessing walt's transformation from a nice teacher to a vito corleone or a tony montana.
