  • I am so damn proud that this band KISS was my generation"s BEATLES,I will never forget the raw power these guy"s drove into my brain,Im speaking for all of us that have put on the face paint and caught the feeling of playing in a band like KISS.I was there/here at this fucking concert back In 1976 and here I am now almost 50 years old and 1000 concert"s later and still have never saw or felt the energy that I did when I was at the KISS Destroyer concert.YOU GOTTA HAVE A PARTY.

  • @diagreen. what do you mean?

  • LOOK AT ACE GO

  • the old kiss rules but the new people suck

  • People say Paul is gay... If I had his money and women he has been with I would say I am gay!!! wake up you fools, he is a 6 foot hot nut all american MAN...

  • @ih8tbush,I hear you man think about the fact that we had BebopDelux modern music Thin Lizzy Jail break UFO no heavy petting Bostons first Johnny Winter live Led Zepppelin presence the list goes on and on 76 was a great year for rock and roll.

  • @pumkinbreath yea.in the 70s u were it or the other word

  • 1976 was somewhat of a transformative year in rock...They say Peter Frampton started the year in debt and ended it with 50 million...and Kiss went from the second tier to a household name. You could see Bad Company at the Garden for $5, and Wings Over America got us dreaming of a Beatles reunion, Bowie tours as the Thin White Duke! Wha Happened?

  • I want Paul Stanley's hair! it's so awesome in this video

  • i first heard kiss in the early 70s....been a fan every since

  • I was like 13 then. KISS gave me my first hard on!. Not for them...it was the music that made my dick quiver and it hasn't stopped to this day! KISS RULES.

  • THE dream band. Why wear only shorts and t-shirts and play when you can do entertaining stuff like this. KISS forever.

  • paul looks like his from tokio hotell :P

  • my favorite bands:KISS,Aces solo group,Metallica,AC/DC...lots of others but im too lazy to write them all down

  • 1 of the 3 first albums I ever bought in Dec 1983. Along with Metallica's Kill 'Em All & Iron Maiden's # Of The Beast..Ahhh, Memories.

  • He's sounds just like the album :)

  • @BluCaiGirl10 ur right

  • Wow, I was just 5 years old when kiss was kicking some serious ass here. This goes to show you that when you were born to rock, it's forever...

  • Paul rockin' the serious jewfro here.

  • This is my fave Ace Les paul. Never liked the triple pickup cherry burst. This is the one I associate with him from when I was a kid.

  • @coffinshaker It was my fav too, it had its own mojo. Really sad it ended up butchered and painted black.

  • @spunkybrewster1972 Really? I didn't know that was the black one. What was he thinking?

  • @coffinshaker Nope, it didn't become Ace's 3 pickup black one he used in the very late70s/early 80s. That was a different LP. What Ace did was worse: He gave the tobacco LP to a luthier who cut out the top piece of the LP body (where the toggle switch is) to match the lower cutaway, making it a double cutaway. Then it was painted black, which was most likely easier than rematching the tabacco finish. Coke and booze make for poor vintage guitar decisions....lol.

  • @spunkybrewster1972 I haven't ever seen a picture of that - where oculd I find one on the web? Sounds like a real stoner moment for sure.

  • THIS is what I SAW when I saw MY FIRST CONCERT EVER!!

(You know that old saying? Nothing compares to your first time? LOL! )

September 6th, 1976. Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Varsity Stadium.

    EXACTLY 35 YEARS AGO!

The Next day. We had to go to School. We sent that Summer off with a bang!

  • KISS RULESSS!!!!!!!!!

  • And congratulations to Paul on becoming a father for the third time at age 59.

  • love Ace lol;Paul is an awesome lead, but too much ego.

  • wow ace. ! killer !

  • My dad was their

  • Paul has always reminded me of Frankenfurter

  • This is when Rock didn't suck! Paul Stanley is a beast...looks like a tweaked up Marc Bolan!

  • I liked the The costumes they wore during this period the most

  • @Blackdragon52k

I saw them first in 1976, and nothing can touch the Destroyer tour stage and costumes in my opinion. At that time, this was a jaw-dropping live show. Odds are, it would still be incomparable today if it was new.

Its a shame that no-one has been able to touch this band live almost 40 years after their debut.

  • @garcemac i know its such a shame..lmao.. I LOVE KISS,

  • @garcemac So true. The original Kiss from the 70's will never be matched.

  • @Warchief01

I tried to watch Lady Gaga's concert special on HBO Canada (in HD!). That experiment lasted about 30 seconds. I'd much rather watch a low-res, grainy, thirty-five year old KISS concert.

They were simply a better, more entertaining, and more engaging band than anything I've watched recently. Good stuff that will never be duplicated.

  • ACE = BOOZE = GOD

  • @WINFIELD120 ACE + Booze + Coke = Guitar legend was born!!!

  • @redhead5150

and fukkin died,,,,,,,,,,, he's a loser who ruined his career

  • i wish i was alive back then :(

  • @gingersnapshard666 welcome to my club.

  • i think the blonde patch is supposed to make his star look like a shooting star but im just guessing

    great vid btw

  • I love the blond in his hair. It made him even more sexy! KISS surely did destory that stage!

  • Imagine what other artists were thinking when they shared the same bill/stage as KISS? I can WHY KISS had (such) a tough time getting other bands to tour with them-OR why other bands DIDN'T WANT KISS to "open for them!"

  • @AngelofAnguish KISS was too stong on stage. They came out and went for the throat. Other bands told them to tame it down and KISS said "BULLSHIT WE ARE THE STARS TONIGHT. We may be going on before you guys but the crowd came to see US !"

  • @AngelofAnguish They Didn't Want Kiss on the Card/Bill Because they Couldn't Follow Them. Kiss Would Take Over the Show. I Witnessed this First Hand.

  • @AngelofAnguish They Didn't Want Kiss on the Card/Bill Because they Couldn't Follow Them. Kiss Would Take Over the Show. I Witnessed this First Hand. I've Been a Kiss Fan Since 1974, I was 9 When I First Heard Them and They Still Kick Ass in 2012.

  • I've always wondered, what is the deal with paul's blonde patch of hair around 1977?
