I miss the old school AC... No offense but Assault Horizon is good, especially in the cinematics and when you shoot down enemy aircrafts you zoom on them, watching them blow up.

@kertaspaper94 Yeah me too.. Makes us feel like the 'real ace'. I personally want AC7 just like AC used to be. With aircraft HP, flares, real aircraft abilities (can mig-21 really do a cobra? lol it'd be as hard as hell), NO CLOSE RANGE ASSAULTS (coz it makes the movement of the planes bit strange), 2nd missile lock (just like in CRA when the circle is full then ur missile can target more accurate), and graphics & effects like in Assault Horizon....

I personally thought the first HAWX was OK... not bad, not great. HAWX 2 was terrible. To make it worse, it had orbital lasers and a tunnel in the final mission. Now we know why there wasn't one in Assault Horizon. HAWX 2 stole the tradition of dodging superweapons and then flying into a tunnel.

@heliosis01 I think the real reason for no tunnel flights or epic superweapons is because it is set in the real world, after all. In Strangereal they could get away with it.

@poopstain4009 In all honesty I thought HAWX was an okay game. Surely it does not stack up to the Ace Combat legacy by any stretch of imagination, but the introduction of OFF MODE made a large aspect of gameplay difference. And the soundtrack, Tom Salta did a very respectable job on it. And I know, haters gonna hate for a person who enjoys HAWX and HAWX 2, but I think it is a good game.

Ace combat is still better though.
