  • well blue wilderness is even better but its gonna rip through your wallet

  • You guys should check out Champion Petfoods (Orijen and Acana), it's like Blue Buffalo, except with free range meats and wild caught fish with all regional ingredients. The price is nearly the same too.

  • I feed my kitty Blue Buffalo wilderness because I trust that there is no bulls%^& in it, like corn meal, I love my cat so much and I am on the quest of finding the BEST food for him, as I want him around as long as possible !! cross science diet off the list !! damn vet propaganda is what it is, really. lips and assh&*(s for kitty, no thanks!

  • Hey i put my dog on blue buffalo dog food in June 2011. Does it help with arthritis like it says. Like having glucosimine and condrotant. *spelling* IT says it's in there, but Idk if it realy is. :o

  • @blacksheepgirl my dog is on Fish and sweet potato. He was on Chicken and brown rice, but I think the fish and sweet potato is better.

  • Love blue buffalo. BUT - Recently I found a piece of blue plastic in a can of their wetfood!! Contacted them and all they did was have me mail them the piece!!

  • i think blue is the best dog food even better than wellness my puppy eats blue and she loves it

  • @shadowdog121200 I love blue. My pitbull eats the longevity.

  • @piepeace my mini schnauzer eats blue bufalo wilderness

  • @shadowdog121200 I was going to feed wilderness, but it has different meats in it and it is not a lean meat. My pitbull has fought weight loss problems before and the wilderness would require more exercise to work all the calories off. Wilderness is a GREAT BLEND. I just don't think it would be right for my situation. I also know that it is especially good for dogs that work a lot. Longevity has whitefish instead and fish is a leaner meat, she is doing really well with it.

  • My baby

  • I have a min pin n a yorkie n they both on Blue Buffalo.....I think it's the best (;

  • Actually, Blue Buffalo is of no greater significance in terms of nutrition compared to science diet. It does in fact contain fillers but the meats are weighted with more water hence how it is the first ingredient. As per the blue buffalo company there are no preservatives to enhance the flavor which is good in terms of TASTE but nutritionally competitive brands such as science diet only contain about an 8% margin. They feel this allows them to raise the price 18% per pound. I prefer Wellness.

  • @daphnebabb blue is actualy so much better than wellness read the ingredients

  • @daphnebabb not true

  • Just because a dog likes the taste, doesn't mean it is a better food. I love the taste of donuts and prefer them over carrots. Does that mean donuts are better for me? No!

  • @MsLabMom actually blue buffalo is way better just read the ingredients

  • @luvpudel lol no, she just loves the stuff.

  • science diet is a crappy food, no idea why vets recommend it

  • @dmbfan07cb very true blue buffalo is the best dog and cat food

  • @dmbfan07cb Because Hills (the manufacturer) representatives teach the few nutrition classes that vets get, and give them samples of food. They are suckered into thinking its a great food.

  • @dmbfan07cb They recommend it because;

    1. There so called pet nutrition classes are paid for by Nestle (Purina) and Hill's (Science Diet)

    2. Shelters get bags of Science Diet and Purina free or at discount prices

    3. The clinics get kickbacks for recommending the companies diets

    So you might think I'm lying? My sister in law is a pet nutritionist, and she worked as a vets assistant. She told me Purina sold them for 50% off if they recommended the food, same with Science Diet.

  • @vampire5003 the vets here get $10 for themselves for each bag of Science Diet they sell. Sell 10 bags a week, that's a $100 bonus they get for themselves. Of course we all know it's one of the biggest crap dog foods out there.

  • @vampire5003 wow, thanks for sharing that info, that is interesting to know, and now I understand why they "push" Science Diet so much in our town.

  • @djgeeter Your welcome, maybe one day companies that make cheap food with fillers and toxins will run out of business only to leave good companies like Canidae, Blue Buffalo, Innova, and Taste of the Wild in demand.

  • @dmbfan07cb THEY MAKE LOTSA MONEY WHEN OUR DOGS GET SICK, OR HAVE AN ONGOING ILLNESS CAUSED BY THEIR DIET

  • @dmbfan07cb Probably because they are paid to recommend it.

  • @dmbfan07cb Vets are surgeons not dietitians.Like your username by the way, DMB is the best.

  • well vote is in blue is the best lol

  • Aw im gitting a rottweiler soon and im going to feed her blue
